compatiblities

guy,
I have a 1985 GSL-SE RX-7 and was wondering is their and compatible engine parts from gen2 and gen3s ,and if so what are they?

Thanks

They are all 13B engines, so yes. Maybe you have something specific in mind? Hard to say
without a target.

The gslse has the o rings in the housings where as the 2nd gen up has the o rings in the irons. you cant swap old school irons/housings with each other due to this.

Second generation transmissions will bolt up. There are other considerations that go along with that however.

Brakes with the Respeed conversion kit, engine bay fuse boxes, transmissions, engines, leading ignition coil from the FC for 2GCDFIS... Heck you can swap the front suspension from the FC if you have some time, and well the ability to do it. The rear suspension from the FC can swap as well. Keep in mind FB's are a solid axle and FCs are IRS so you need ALOT of fabrication ability.

Other than engines, and transmissions, not alot is 'plug and play' but it can be made to work.
