Should we bring back RCC car of the month?
 

We have not been active in this for some time now.

If someone is willing to donate their time in running RCC car of the month I would be happy to let you try.

You must be able to use Photoshop and be able to come up with a creative lineup for rotary car of the month.
You must be able to create and manage nominations post and setup voting polls.
You will need to post nominations, voting and winners will be posted under the RCC facebook and twitter account
I am looking for someone to fully manage this for at least 6 months or longer if they are willing.

If your interested in RCC car of the month send me a PM and explain why you would be a good candidate.

Kevin I hope we do. I know the running of it is the hard part. But it was always great to see the cars that people built. It did set this site apart a bit.

It would be great to have this back. Everything that separates this forum form the OTHER forum is a +.

we could try car of the season if it makes things easier

I think interest for this might wane after a while. I bet if there was some prize involved, from a sponsor maybe, people will send pics in droves.

What about instead of ride of the month maybe like best mod,best build, best pic of there car, funniest pic. Something to incorporate the whole site instead of making it just one model at a time. Might show more involvement if its something everyone can participate in.

i tried recently. not one bit of participation aside from myself.

That'd be neat! I'd volunteer if I had the time.

could even roll the winners into a RCC calender

i know this is an old thread... but here's a thought that ended up happening on a local forum, change it from monthly to quarterly... gave people more time to vote and see the threads.. and for the person controlling it, they didn't get burned out as quickly because the work was spread out

Looking at the history it should be rotary of the year and it would maybe get 30 votes. Seems people want to look at the pics.

I'm a FNG here but I would love to see this. Only problem is that every car site I can recall being on has this, and on just about all of them it dies off. Would be nice to see something that sticks around. One car site still has a COTM posted prominently from nearly two years ago and that becomes an embarrassment IMHO.
