Just a heads up from the fuel tank deppartment

Dunno if many of you have ever checked your fueltanks and fuel-rack if you are running stock or light mod fuelpumps...
But, i found this in my tank, on a car that has only had stock fuel pumps all of its life. I know this cause i got the old stock fuel pump with the car, along with the fitted "new" stock fuel pump...

The clip has melted and was on its way to melt through the clip wall separating the two electrical sides... Imagining this thing catch fire....!:117:

Thats most likely due to a poor connection. A moderately upgraded pump isn't going to draw significantly enough to hurt the stock wiring. I've had a huge aeromotive 450lph pump on stock wiring for years and it was fine.

if so, its from factory. i spoke with the previous owner, who changed the old stocker for a new stocker, and he didnt even touch the plug there, he just disconnected the bolts on the pump and made the swap.
