Bad CPU

I'm not sure how many people waste their time in my build thread. But figured this was something I'd make a second thread about...for those that don't care too much about an OEM rebuild.

Story is that 3 or so days ago everytime I started the rebuilt engine when I closed the door the sensor triggered my horn to blow once and my lights to flash once.

Backstory is that the car has a history of alarm problems. It would on occasion, but not very often go off spontaneously. So I'm sure this was a building problem.

I took the CPU off the old vert and found the parts are different. One is for S5 with airbag, one is for S5 with no airbag. I need with airbag and they can be bought from Mazdatrix for around $90.

Here's the bad part. I just pulled it out of the car.

One of the services my employer provides is repair and service for computers and smartphones. One of the guys who does that work is a performance car guy. Gonna take the circuit board to him tomorrow and see what he says.

Pic request!! Anyone have macro pics of the FC66 board? Techs at work can replace the resistors if they can have a reference and know they are putting the right ones in. They are burned bad enough that there is some guess work.
