February 2011 Rotary Car Club ROTM - RX8
New month, new category. And since this is a short month that's already started, we're going to do this a little differently. I'm going to start by nominating 2 cars, more are certainly welcome. Nominations will conclude on the 21st with the poll being updated as more nominations are added.
1) 2gslse's RX8 2) WE3RX7's RX8 You 2 will recieve a PM shortly to post up a few pics and dyno's :suspect: 3 pics please, 1 interior, 1 exterior, 1 engine bay shot, short list of mods, dyno's pics being towed through the snow... whatever ya want ;) |
This I think will help getting things started, since it seems that nobody wants to enter their own cars.

And, something I don't think has occurred in ROTM competition before. Two competing cars in one pic...
http://www.findtuners.com/rx8/mc_bill1.JPG My modifications: Performance: - AP Catless dual-resonated midpipe - Cobb AP - K&N Drop in - LS2 Coils (yes TTT, I'm counting them as performance, lol) - Summit plug wires (had to build to suit for LS coils) Wheels/Tires/Brakes/Suspension: - JIC FLT-A2 - Enkei NT03 +M 18x8.5 +38 - Kumho Ecsta XS 245/40 - Powerstop slotted rotors - HPS pads - G2 caliper coating - Russell braided lines and speed bleeders Interior: - '93 FD de-wrapped shiftknob - Sparco Evo drivers seat(not installed currently, no brackets :( ) I think thats it. Last dyno was 182/141. 2GSL-SE can post his stats up (I'm too bitter to type them and the dyno numbers, lol). |
My modifications:
Performance: - Racing beat headers - Custom Magnaflow cat and catback exhaust - Racing beat REVi intake system - Lightweight flywheel - Mercury marine ignition coils - Sohn OMP adaptor - Koyo aluminum radiator - Exedy clutch - uninstalled Cobb accessport (why bother? dyno run A/F was perfect as is) Wheels/Tires/Brakes/Suspension: - Greddy type S coilovers - 19 x 8.5"/ 19 x 9.5" MRR wheels - slotted / crossdrilled rotors Interior: - Shiftknob robbed from my FD - rest of interior stock 160K Exterior: - Autoexe vented fiberglass hood I think thats it. Last dyno was 194 RWHP/137 Torque. Thats right bill, I said it 194 N/A horsepower BTW... thanks for the pics and you forgot to include your uninstalled clutch in the mod list :D |
