Energy Suspension

Energy Suspension lists bushings for the stock FD sway bars in their catalog, and so does Summit Racing. On Dec. 27, 2010, I placed an order for them in red from Summit Racing. I just received my second notice from Summit that the delivery date is being moved back to early Feb. 2011 instead of late January.

Today I called and talked to Energy Suspension first and then to Summit Racing trying to find out what is happening.

This is the basic explanation from them: I am the first customer to order them and will be getting the first production set. :sifone:

And your happy? I might be a little nervous about being the guinea-pig. Though they look simple enough.
Regardless, post up your findings and impressions, how they install and how they feel. I might be interested in a set for the rear.

I wonder if that's what's really happening...

I placed an order from some Energy Suspension bushings for my Jeep a couple of weeks ago, and the parts I needed were also back ordered. The vendor told me they'd be drop shipping it directly from ES when they had been made. I wonder if Energy Suspension is having some sort of manufacturing issue...

Actually the rear bushings were made to work on the smaller rear sway bar of the newer cars. But this only makes them tighter for the earlier thicker bars.
This way they work for both.

The front fits with the exact same fit as the stock.

strange, they include those bushings in their hyperflex complete car set, i have no idea why they would claim that they have never sold them before.

They don't have a complete set for FDs though.

And that's all they sell for the FD, so who the heck cares

They are still in one piece.
