Anyone ever hear of JP Racing??
 

I just picked up a cheap ported 12a with good compression but unknown running condition. Trying to dig up a little info before I tear into it. So has any one heard of JP racing(carved in the top)? I am googling but see nothing.

Did you pull the manifolds and get a look at the porting?

That is a good place to start.

The good compression is encouraging (how do you test it without a starter).

I have not pulled them yet, been to busy.


My friend that runs this shop has a starter on a broken chunk of bell housing that bolts up.
