Help with wiring, ECU RE vs REW

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for ECU's of a USA REW and a JDM RE? I was told the ECU's are not directly interchangable. I have a 13BTT RE in my Porsche 914. I want too do some mild mods and tuning. I need to get the ECU question sorted before I can decide to swap it or chip it or flash it.

Has a couple manuals for free download. I don't think they have the JDM one though.
