Hey, rotorheads.

So what's the deal with the RX-8?? I have a 2005 with 61k miles. It keeps burning oil or something, but I don't see any dripping. I just keep putting more oil in it. s

This thing's kinda low on torque and hp. How can I up that cost-effectively?

Who do you guys think makes the best exhaust? I think I wanna get one. Should I get a midpipe?

Where can I get a decent paint job for around $200?

How well do those eBay computer chips work? I bought two of them, but I haven't installed them yet.

Is it possible to swap from a 6-speed to an automatic?

Just kiddin'. :seeya:

Wow I thought you might have been in serious need of direction. Nice Intro man, welcome to the forums.

Welcome to RCC.

Probably the funniest intro I've ever read.

So what do you really drive..........

It's really an 05 RX-8 manual with 61k. Can't deny I love it. But it definitely has cost me more than my Miata and PT Cruiser. It reminds me of my MX-5 some, but, maybe meaner or something. I can see why people call them "never-ending project cars." Mod fever!

Cool, and yes they are...... I have two ongoing never ending project threads and they only encompass 25% of my cars. It's a sickness, there is no cure, welcome to the club, you'll like it here. You S.O. or bank account may feel differently though ;)

That's the funniest Intro. I've seen. I will admit that I actually started to get mad, especially when I got to the "paint job for around $200?" part. Then I realized we had another smart ass in the group. :seeya: welcome to the forum!
