Need ideas on a body kit

Choose #1 the Veilside D1 GT bodt kit carbon fiber or polyurethane material

Choose #2 the Veilside Fortune body kit fiberglass

Please help me out with the PROS and CONS!!!

nothing from veilside...too gimmicky.

If you're looking for the widest widebody then go for it but the real kit itself will cost you a lot of money without the labor to get it to fit right and the wheels/tires to match the kit will also cost you quite a bit of cash.

Pics of your car?

Why?

see edits. If I had to choose I'd say the D1 looks sleeker though.

ok

Looked at Re-Amemiya before thats where i got the idea. the Veilside D1 GT bodt kit is the best route. it saves me money and my rear fender

Try something from Re-Amemiya, looks much better and I imagine the prices aren't to different from the price of an authentic veilside kit. Definitely wouldn't go anywhere near the fortune kit, offhand I can't place the D1 kit.

I'm not sure of the cost of these kits, but Im sure they are not on the cheap side. Unless you are mounting the kit & doing and need bodywork to make things fit yourself be ready to fork over some good money there. Then you have paint cost to cover which can get pretty costly depending on paint choice. As far as wheels go, you will need to get wheels big enough to fill the fenders & wheels of large width normally are not on the cheaper side. I would say I would look at the RE kits IMO if you are set on this.

Re-Amemiya does have some good looking stuff.

sandewc 08-03-2010 11:30 PM

dude Re-Amemiya do make good kits

Fortune kit = 10-12 T-H-O-U-S-A-N-D for the *kit*
D1 = $2k

That will make the majority of peoples' decisions right there  In all honesty, I have seen a handful of fortune kitted cars in person...2 were done decently, 1 was a debauchery. There's so much work involved in putting that thing on. Actually, thats not an accurate statement, let me try again:

There's so much work in cutting the entire FD apart, and gluing fiberglass shit all over the entire car front to back , that you'll easily surpass the price of the kit to get it added to the car and painted. Then you need to buy 12 or 13" wide wheels....ugh...its a rich man's game that one, but if you want it go for it.

Also, the whole car will end up being roughly an entire foot wider, so make sure your garage door will clear

i been thinkin about the burnout kit.
