WG & TPC pills

I'm trying to track down a boost issue with my new BNR sequentials. I get an 8-5-8 transition, but turning up the boost on the PFC has no effect. The WG% goes to 250 and stays there until I let off the throttle. I thought my engine re-builder had forgotten to put in the pills, so I went to get the pills out of my 99 spec twins, only to find there were none. The lines had obviously not been removed since they were frozen on to the actuators. The 99 spec twins gave a perfect 14-11-14 when they were on the car. Why didn't I have problems with boost with the 99 twins without the pills? Should I make some pills and install them in the BNR's to fix the boost issue? I have not yet checked the Y pipe to see if it is leaking.

The 99 spec has the pills built in not pushed into the rubber lines .If you resize the pills you can get a small drop in the transition that can not even be seen on the boost gage .When my car was seq I saw 10 lbs , the gage would flick down toward 9.5 to fast to read and back to 10 . I was drilling ,making my own pills and I do not remember the hole sizes . The stock pills are installed with the smallest hole in th longest line ,biggest hole in the short line .If mine were 8-5-8 or 14 -11-14 I would be very upset with the uneveness, pull -lag-pull .

I found both 1" lines were loose resulting in a big boost leak. Since I had pills made up, I added them to the lines. I can now hit 10 psi. I don't know yet if the pills have had any effect, since I am slowly doing AFR tuning. Thanks for the input.

Where would you get replacement pills? I'm missing mine and I'm only hitting 8psi on Non-Sequentials...

Make your own or use carb jets. Get a brass bolt to cut up they are easy to drill .

It would appear that my BNR's don't have built in restrictors. I removed the pills I had installed and I'm back to spring pressure. I'm a bit annoyed that a bolt on part doesn't work as supplied, and no mention I can find about having to install pills to get the turbo's to work properly. I contacted Bryan but he was not very helpful (must have been grumpy). He said if I needed pills, to just go make some.

I can make up some for anyone. I use Nikki fuel jets, they fit nicely in the metal tube. 15 for a pair shipped USA.
