PIR - Tonight 3/21 and/or tomorrow 3/22
 

Drag racing at Portland International Raceway! Weather looks clear for both nights. I'm taking the RX-7 tonight and the cop car tomorrow night. Gates open at 6, racing until midnight, $25 to race, $8 to watch, as many runs as you can get it. I know it's short notice but it looks like all the other meets died out...

Wow, $25 seems kinda high...its it just test and tune or is there a payout?

Test and Tune, and $25 is the cheapest I've ever seen. Orlando was $40, Seattle is $45, and Mission was $35 plus a border crossing. Haven't been to Bremerton or Woodburn yet, but I know Woodburn is $40.

I've also got the record of 30 passes in one night at PIR. I average 12!

Around here its usually $15..thats why I ask :)

Well yeah, 1/8 mile is half track so you get 1/2 price :P

Hmm, maybe...Moroso in Florida is only $20 for 1/4mile...I grew up about 20 minutes from there :D

Prices there have gone up since then :( Orlando was only $20 when I started drag racing 7 years ago.

Yup, as in Florida. Good ole Slip World in Bithlo. I was born and raised in Cocoa. I still visit every other year.

I grew up right at the top of Lake Okeechobee about 2 hours south of O-town :D

$10 here in Huntsville. 1/8th. All you need, right. The last 1/8th is a cake walk. Just keep eevrything togther.

$15 for 1/4 in san antonio. and they had a killer monthyl bike night (100+ bikes, a bunch with turbos). i miss that strip
