Garfinkles oil pan brace

The cost of the steel to make the oil pan braces has gone up again but I will hold the price the same on the latest batch . I have 26 ready to ship so if you have been waiting for one , some builders get several at a time, just PM me on this forum .I now have Pay pal . I also have a few coil relocation plates ready and air pump replacement pulleys ready .

Garfinkles Motor Works 12-16-2010 01:45 AM

The important thing is they will not see an oil leak .

David Jerome 12-16-2010 03:03 PM

Dave, do you have any in stock at the moment?

Garfinkles Motor Works 12-17-2010 12:28 AM

Yes I have some ready to ship with all bolts and the o-ring.

Zatzy 01-26-2011 08:53 PM

Do you make a coil relocation kit for RHD FD's? If not does anyone know of any that exist?

Prodigy 01-27-2011 12:02 AM

The coil relocation kit he has works with both RHD, and LHD.... I have one, and with the RHD you have quite a bit more room to play with, but also have an AC and one or two more things in the way, mine is angled at about a 20-25 degree angle, front being lower then the rear, so when not in motion it 'drains' the fluids off...

I don't have any pictures, and he car is covered in about 2 feet of snow :P

I have one of your braces but it goes outside of the pan so what am I missing? What's the o-ring for?

did you start making o-ringed braces that go between the pan and the engine?

Garfinkles Motor Works 01-29-2011 07:35 PM

The o-ring is for the oil level sensor

Signal 2 01-30-2011 09:00 AM

^Yep. Everyone I've ever seen has been smushed pretty bad and not reusable. That's a nice detail from David.
