MS6 Turbo help!!! K04
 

So we got a busted MS6 turbo here in HI; I was wondering if you wanna work your magic on it to try and give it some more flow.

The factory one we took out is fine - he ordered a rebuilt one from PTP and it was trashed - instead of risking that again; I told him about your skills and mentioned that you worked wonders on the Greddy TD06 - why not a better quality turbo as the guinea pig.

Your thoughts?

I can take a look at it and tell you what options you have. From the pictures I cant see much of the dimensions. There are other brands of turbos that can be fitted to the IHI's.

I know if you can work a better flowing 310WHP turbo out of it for a good price, the MS3 and MS6 folks will be lining up.

What?!? THat is BS. A group Buy should cover the first round don't you think?

I have 10 Compressors to work up for this application. I will build this one turbo up and I will take pictures and notes and you can post them wherever. I think it will be a hit. No one wants to replace all their parts they just bought.

I am in the process of looking for a Mazdaspeed6. The Mazda3 is fun, but it is time to move on (already....lol)

yeah. I have everything plotted out. Just have to organize a few things before it happens.

FYI - WHen it gets time to tune; can you get me a copy of the Flowmap / Turbine Map for my base tune? It would be very helpful.


Also - it does seem like your getting a lot of interest from the MS folks; very cool.

We shall see! If there is enough interest I will make a nice turbine wheel and a bigger turbo upgrade :D.
