rx7 FC TII 03-22-2009 06:44 PM

do not do it! lambo doors are beyond ghey. and dont paint your rims purple good god that would look horrible.

please dont make another 7 look like shit. and if your gonna do 18s you have to do it right with a wide body kit and style not ghetto shit.

ZGN 03-22-2009 06:56 PM

Do what ever makes you happy! :) If you like the labo doors do it. I am not to fond of them but that's just me.

vex 03-22-2009 07:08 PM

only doors that I would ever do on my car would be Audi doors from iRobot. As for the lambo doors... you mean this:

djmtsu 03-22-2009 07:20 PM

No to both modifications.

RX-7's are performance cars, not donks.

bigtony08 03-22-2009 07:36 PM

I couldn't find the direct picture I was thinking of. Think of the Diablo Hinge but it folds out and beside the front fender, keeping the entire door low/below the roof line.

bigtony08 03-23-2009 06:03 AM

i like the doors on the silvia. plus i think with that color on a vert it would look sexy.

To chime in on this, I once saw an FC on ziptied that pulled off the lambo door look quite well.

Picture this: an fc vert with a kit, rolllbar, slammed to the ground doing a huge burnout, driver's hands up high, wavin bitches goodbye!

Deuce!

PS: roflmao, just kidding.

djmtsu 03-24-2009 06:16 PM

Tony, please give me your FC before you destroy it.

I will give you my 626 in return.

Max777 03-24-2009 06:19 PM

BTW, were those lambo pics photochopped or what because....

has anyone used these lights? opnions

djmtsu 03-25-2009 07:09 AM

The housings look decent, but are most likely crap. The lights themselves are the same crap you can pick up for $20 at Advance Auto or Walmart.

I am guessing they are priced super high though.

Proxy One 03-25-2009 11:15 AM

I like the purple with the gold or bronze wheels, I think that will look great. Id stay away from the doors though. Just do a fat widebody kit and some wide azz wheels in the back and call it a day.

bigtony08 03-25-2009 02:21 PM

thats what i want but who sells a widebody kits and can you post up some pics

you are correct $499 lol. i want a set like re-a offers.

djmtsu 03-25-2009 02:26 PM

Shine Auto Project has all the widebody goodies you need.

And you can build your own light kit for so much cheaper. Just need to be able to cut and measure aluminum, and shorten the retractor arm.

bigtony08 03-25-2009 02:31 PM

do you know anyone who offers the non pop ups like the ones you can get for fd's

A few companies used to sell the kits. CP Racing (out of business) East Bear (goodluck finding some).

I would look on RHDJapan.

And here is a teaser pic of Juice's widebody FC.
