when Autopower opens up tomorrow ill get this info for you guys. Ill see if they have some installed pictures of these in all the rotary cars they offer them for.

the following is quoted from Autopowerindustries.com

"Our roll bars and cages meet or exceed the safety requirements for most competition sanctioning organizations. Our bars and cages have been designed to easily install and provide maximum protection. The fit in your vehicle allows quick and easy entry and most importantly, quick exiting, while conforming closely to your interior for a clean, unobtrusive look and feel. All of our bars and cages are certified MIG welded and precision jig notched, providing you with the maximum strength and best fit available. Every roll bar or cage has been designed to fit *specific car models so only minor *modifications are necessary for the instal*lation. Most applications are a true bolt-in and require NO WELDING."

I have personally seen these in an S2000 and it looks great, its real subtle and they come in black. So they do stay hidden until you get the full roll caged that come up into the passenger area instead of behind the seats. but i do know they try to stay away from getting in the way of anything at all, autopower has been around for a while here is a link to their entire application catalog.

AzEKnightz 03-01-2009 10:18 PM

Damn Mike, you always come up with something I want after I purchase so much off you!! Every damn time >.< That Race Roll Bar caught my attention =)

bigtony08 03-02-2009 12:09 AM

really interestd in a race roll bar if you can tell me if it would work in a vert

sk8world 03-02-2009 12:29 AM

is this legal for drag racing -certified?

SHPmainMAN 03-02-2009 12:44 AM

Eric send me a PM about this and i can see if i can work this into your current order and make this a little cheaper for you unless you would want to wait on a group buy.

As far as the convertible im almost 100% sure it will work but i will double check with autopower tomorrow. I seen it in an S2000 and the convertible top worked up and down with no kinks against the roll bar and it fit very well with the top up. but again, i will double check on your car.

As for Drag racing certified. ill also check on that when they open tomorrow. i know the bolt in roll cage is SCCA and NASA legal.

-Mike

bigtony08 03-02-2009 01:56 AM

thank you

SHPmainMAN 03-03-2009 12:59 PM

The owner of Autopower is getting me some install pictures on the RX7's FC and FD. and im sure some of the pictures will answer some questions like mounting points, seat travel and harness points.

CLH 03-05-2009 03:17 PM

What would the shipping cost to 98166 be for the 4-point w/harness bar?

SHPmainMAN 03-11-2009 04:11 PM

Shipping on these are going to be $115 within the city and $135 in Rural areas
ill add it to the original Post

RX-7 Chris 04-01-2009 11:23 AM

I wish I had the money for this for my FB.

WE3RX7 04-13-2009 01:57 PM

I dont think chrome molly passes sanctioning bodies here in the US. I believe that was the issue I had with the Cusco bar I originally wanted.

Does the autopower full cage (6 point) go through the dash, or cut down right in front like that S13 w/ full interior?

karl0003 04-13-2009 11:30 PM

mike i want this. i want the race cage. it looks like a sick setup. hit me up when you get some pictures of it in an fd

SHPmainMAN 05-13-2009 04:34 PM

i guess i might have to just order one for myself then get some pics huh?
