2/21 Pelham, AL meet???
 

Short notice, I know. Anyone interested in gathering here at the shop? I can foot the bill for some food and drinks....as long as it isn't a huge turnout. Usually only 10-15 ever show, and Kevin and Phil are usually the only FD owners that drive their FDs to the meets :001_005: . Please advise if you would like to come. I'm thinking gather around 11am, I'll cook on the grill, and you all can hang out and check out the place and see what we are all about.

Let me know if you want to come. Based on the response I get, I will advise everyone on Friday if this will be a go!

I'll try to come but that depends on what I get done on my car the rest of the week. I really want to get it running this weekend.

I'll be there!... in my 8 as my MB FD is still in need of rotors.

I'll come by but still have not replaced my throughout bearing in the 7 so I might not be driving it. Maybe I'll drive it anyway. I have mad skills with no clutch driving.

The new shop is about 2 miles north of our old location, off of Hwy. 33 that runs behind Home Depot.

Yeah I'm still around Todd, lol. Been a little busy with work.

That's a nice bike...I bet those Termis sound off!!! I really miss my 916 that I built (bought it banged up and busted, and completely turned it around to show quality).

the growl on them isn't like any bike i've heard before......

Ok, looks like it is a go for tomorrow folks. We have at least 10 that have said they will be here, but possibly as many as 15...we'll see.

I will grill burgers and dogs (maybe even some deer sausage) and supply some drinks. I don't mind if you drink alcohol, just be reasonable with it and don't act a fool up in here or you will be asked to leave.
***ALSO*** Please take it easy coming down our street. Our neighbors are pissy about the noise we make, plus they have some small kids they let run all around.

If you need help finding the place, call me and I will direct you here. Easiest way to tell you: Take exit 242 off I65 South-bound, go right at the top of the exit, go approx. 1/4 mile and take right at first light (hwy. 33 - behind Home Depot), once on hwy. 33 go 1.2 miles and turn right onto Dow Street, at the bottom of the hill turn into the commercial area and we are the last building.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up with some old friends.

Todd, What I'm bringing might be quite LOUD!!! I'll be quiet as I can.

Also, Luis is coming with me.

Most of the people who visit his shop have loud ass cars. I think he's used to it.

Oh no.... The one I'm bringing tomorrow is especially loud.. If I get it running :)

glad to hear its gonna happen. ill be there. i might show up a lil early if you need some help setting up or anything.

I'll be there around 10:30am or before to setup the few tables and the chairs, grill, drinks, etc... Come on over if you would like.

I think Pat's car is probably louder...but then again, it doesn't run so I guess yours will be louder. Just messin' with you Pat. :cheers2:

Everyone, please take note of #2 (Hobby = Dzire) and give him a :sifone:. His wife is still in the hospital and he's home with the baby and his other daughter. Let me know if I can help with anything Hobby!!! We'll get together soon!
