Rotary watch?

SlOASFK (sp?) said you guys are supplying rotary watches. I might be interested in one. Can you provide more info on that?

Thanks.

JKL Racing Engineering 02-28-2008 09:45 PM

I think there might be a misunderstanding because I have not heard about a rotary watch until now. :D He bought FD Zippo lighter from us, so he might have meant rotary lighter.

Brian, could you chime in here and explain what's going on? :)

SLOASFK 02-28-2008 11:04 PM

haha!

I was telling him about the FC and FD Zippos you're selling, and he mentioned rotary watches. I said he should ask. :) I never said you were selling them.

Thanks for making me look like an ass, Rob. :p

SayNoToPistons 02-28-2008 11:09 PM

JKL Racing Engineering 02-28-2008 11:47 PM

is it simply a band with with a rotor case on it?

it says the rotor is the second hand, does it only tell you second increments? i dont see an hour or minute.

maybe i'm just a retard? :o11:

JKL Racing Engineering 02-29-2008 04:13 PM

though technically, that's not an RX-8 engine. RX-8s are side port, the engine in that picture is pport.

But ya, it's upside down...

SayNoToPistons 03-05-2008 01:27 PM

US $285.00

Went waaaay over my budget...

85rx-7gsl-se 03-05-2008 01:31 PM

BigIslandSevens 03-12-2008 05:48 AM

espeacially for one with all the little details WRONG... I.E. Side port, engine upside down etc... Now if it came with a shortblock renesis i would buy one;)

Can someone explain to me why you would bid 280 when the previous bid is 235?

Rotary13B1 03-17-2008 12:03 PM

What a nice guy!

Yeah, shill bidding happens quite a lot on fleabay. When I want anything, I usually check out all of the "Buy it Now" listings and calculate the final price (+ shipping of course).

BTW, refilling laser toners FTW!!

str8ryd 03-17-2008 02:03 PM

Kevin, I PM'd you on the other forum about the FD zippo lighters. Could you still get them? If so, please send me the details. I want one badly!!!

Riz, the FD Zippo is expencive, but incredibly worth it. I bought mine a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. even as just a shelf piece, it's awesome.

Riz, when did you pm me? I don't recall receiving your pm regarding the lighter. Sorry if I missed the pm. Just pmed you here. :D

str8ryd 03-17-2008 03:30 PM

I PM'd you on the rx7club within the last month sometime. You did contact me over there, but I was just debating whether I could justify the lighter purchase. I've made my decision ;)

Don't tease me man. Throw up some pics of yours. I'm just worried some idiot "friend" of mine will try and swipe it. I hate lighter-jackers :banghead:

Atkins Rotary already make a "Rotary watch". It's a real rotor with a watch put into the middle. you can also get one with a housing attached as well. And all dirt cheap, too!

EDIT: Nevermind, that would be a rotary "clock". I am bilingual, and forgot that watch means "on your hand" not just any clock.
