AH!!! I remember now. Zonblitz was going to be in a magazine but it didn't dawn on me that HE was Kenny. Gonna have to go pick it up and read it during lunch.
Who wrote the article? |
David Pratte of Modified.

I guess I've gotta find it on the newsstand. I've been neglecting my reading materials lately, too much to do and not nearly enough time to get it done.
i went to like 6 different stores today, and no one has it. they still have last months issue!! i guess ill try again tomorrow.
Kenny, Can you sign my magazine:)
^ Ditto - you can sign it and I'll put it up next to the one of my 8, it can be a new trend: how many cover cars can RCC have...
After DGRR 08 I asked the editor to 'adjust' the story and he said that he could... I wanted to add RCC to my list of helpful websites. Sadly it didn't end up in the story. I'm sorry.
They also left out a few key people on my Thank you list, namely Ray Crow, my good friend Matt Daigle and Freddy Hebert for allowing me to use his shop for almost 3 months during my engine bay project. For these people and to the RCC forum I apologize, maybe next time. I have a feature in the works with DSport. |
Just got a copy today ... good article :) ... I like the credit to Fighter's Garage for the toe links and trailing arms ;)
Nice! congrats on the cover.
Good job Kenny, I went to two different books stores to no avail, Ill keep looking
If I remember after I get off work tonight I'll check to see if I can find it somewhere.

I got my copy tonight. I was really late on getting it, but the issue just reconfirms it being my favorite FD I've seen as of yet.

Strike a pose! Vogue! Vogue!

It's cool how close our community is! I just KNEW that whoever owns that car would post on here to show and tell!
Great job on the car! I only have one slight quip about it: Where did you get the front bumper? The fitment doesnt seem to be too great, and it brings down the car. The bumper design itself is awesome, but i think it would look even better if you could mess with the fit a bit more, and get it to line up better! Apart from that, A++++ :D EDIT: I double checked both the online, and the magazine pics: The online one doesnt seem to make it stand out as much, and looking at the magazine again, and seeing the fender to bumper gaps, I think that the actual problem might be the carbon hood rather than the bumper... And then there is also that pic of the car with no front end, what happened there? :D |
We atually improved the fit shortly after the photo... imo that wasn't the best pic.. the entire kit is made by the same company so it SHOULD fit better.
we took off the front end to get it on a flat bed truck, after the rear end exploded. |
How goes the reconstruction?
actually well, I was going to post some pics tonight.
It's all ready for paint! Painting begins Monday!:hurray: |
That's nice to hear! I would love some more pics of it! No matter what, I still think it's a gorgeous car!
