It made it out tonight and man it was good to drive it (other than the J.A. that tried to run me off the road). We had a great turn out tonight.

85rx-7gsl-se 05-20-2008 10:01 PM

Sorry I missed, but family is coming in Thurs. so had to clean up some stuff. Plus, I worked on the SE, think I successfully fixed the leaking cooler hose :D

Looks great Chad!! It'll look even better once you get a 99spec front bumper on it. Guess who has 2 thumbs and his two 99spec front bumpers finally arrived after 3 months? This guy!

I here ya. I should have my spec soon. Now to get the rebar, fogs, lower spoiler, etc.
So are you back now? Or still saving the USA from obama's (our next president) people.:banghead:

Brent 06-12-2008 09:19 AM

Glad to hear the car is making progress still. I figured the new crumb snatcher would put it on hold for a while. As far as Afghanistan... 3 months down, 12 more to go. Gotta love the Army's 15 month deployments... haha.

Come on Don, I THINK YOU KNOW ME BETTER THAN THIS!
He is over seas in the military so yes the middle east.
I just dont see him being president after all the 9-11 stuff, and lack of experience.

Mike, I wasn't looking for a fight, I was only asking a question because now it seems both of you don't realize he, nor his parents are not of middle eastern decent. His mother is a Caucasian woman from Kansas and his father is an African man from Kenya. So I ask again, what people might that be?

I do know you better than that, but as I stated above, I don't think you realize what you were stating wasn't accurate.

Well after the whole write up/tv talk on Obama's appeal in the Muslim world, I made the decision to not agree with a word that comes from his mouth. I my own opinion he has something up his sleeve he is not telling anyone. I just want my kids to grow up and be able to pray in school, say the Pledge of Allegiance, etc.
Obama rejects Pledge of Allegiance buy not placing his hand over his chest.
Come on.......... that is the American thing to do. Maybe Muslims can't!
I guess I love my country more than others do and cherish the flag and the meaning behind it.
Guess all my family that is in the military and in law enforcement rubs off on me.

Well, not to get into a big political debate as we (Americans - You and I) live in the USA and have the right to choose who we feel is the best person at the time for now until that is taken away.

I'm gonna end this because I think it is trying to get turned into something it is not!!!!!!!!

HDP 06-15-2008 01:39 AM

Chad, I can't believe what I'm reading... I'm sorry my friend, but you have been sadly misled. You really need to RESEARCH this information for yourself and not go solely on the words of ANTI-BLACK supporters. BTW, that photo you posted has already been disputed. It wasn't the Pledge of Allegiance, it was the National Anthem. You are only required to stand for the National Anthem, but some do place their hand over their heart.
After reading you and Mike's posts which really have no grounds or basis, I now realize this country is in really bad shape to succumb to lies and false propaganda as easily as this. It really takes a nation full of ignorance to believe everything told to them without knowing the true facts for themselves. For the sake of the future of our children, even if you never like Sen. Barack, please search for the truth and not pass false judgement the way you just did.

Here is a starting point...

Well, I do have to agree with you about things posted on the internet.
How do we truly know the truth. I guess we will really never know unless we have a personal dealing with the subject, person, or event we are looking up on the net.
Things seemed so much easier in the 80's. Wish I could go back to that time to raise my kids.
Well Don,
Coming from someone I do call a friend I will have to say thanks for the input.
This kind of subject and religion are hard to talk about.

Well hope the little one and momma are doing well. So when do we get to see them again?

They are doing great. 4 1/2 months and growing. Well, since the 7 is only a 2 seater, I can bring one or the other to the next get-together.

sk8world 06-24-2008 02:33 PM

What if your kids DONT WANT TO say the fuc kin pledge? A lot of kids just think it's total bullshit that is being forced upon them!
Learn something before you say things like that.

This is typical "america-fuck yeah!" attitude that i often drummed into young kids by their overly patriotic parents that are fooled by the government. I'm sorry but you need to be more open minded to see the bigger picture man!

My "original" and a bit pissed off post:

Well, let me fill you in on a little something there! I dont put my hand on my heart or even stand up when they say it at school, fuck that shit! I think this county is going down the shithole, and Obama could do something to stop it, unlike McCain's old ass. That guy hasnt even TOUCHED a computer! I dunno about you, but I shure as hell dont see McCain leading us into the 21st century.

I think that the people in politics have been clinging on to old world ideas long enough, and that we need someone a little more "fresh" to lead our country.

Anyway, end of my rant. I also want to point out that I'm a 17y.o. high school student, and am non-religious, so peoples religious beliefs and affiliations, OR their origins dont matter to me. You can be asian or black, harvard grad or dropout, rich or poor, and still be either a really good person, or a total dumb ass. I think that discrimination isnt the way to go.

I think that you are prejudist and have pre-conceived notions about Barak because he's "Different" from what everyone is used to. The day when someone else than a middle aged white guy is president has been coming, and it's here now!
