1984 GSL-SE restoration
4 Attachment(s)
I'm restoring a 1984 GSL-SE as a surprise gift for my dad. Its been a slow process. I'm hoping i can have it finished sometime during summer. Started off by fixing the rust problem areas. The car has been re-undercoated and the inside coated with LizardSkin. Keeping the car factory sunrise red.

:icon_tup: Your dad is going to be a happy man! Wish my sons would do something like that, I used to have a '85 sunrise red GSL-SE which was the first new car I bought back in the day.

What springs are those? Or did you just powdercoat the factory springs? And like Cheebs said..... MOAR!!!! |
 I'm in lust!
|
There racing best springs. Half the price of new factory springs. I really did not want to spend the time sand blasting the original ones. Also their 30 years old. Id rather have new spings lol

well its been awhile since I posted. Mainly ive been so busy with work and all of my friends and family cars decided to all break down the past month. just way to much going on lately but I finally got back to working on the car this past week. hopefully be painting the rest of the body panels soon.
I started laying out the wiring in the car. I taped the harness up so now it looks new again. spent a long time cleaning each connector the best that I could. sandblasted and powder coated a bunch of engine bay brackets. started putting the door internals all back together. will take more pics but heres a few that I took. http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...5&d=1405900924 http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...6&d=1405900924 http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...7&d=1405900924 http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...8&d=1405900924 |
