Hi DJ,
We're trying to get $400 for it. The PO paid $600, his name is Kevin and he's in the military stationed in Mississippi. He never got around to fixing it up as he planned. It's been sitting stored at my property in Jefferson Georgia for the last year or so. Next weekend, the best offer tows it away. It's an older Georgia car, so it has no title, but there's a string of bills of sale since it was last registered about 10 years ago that should make it street legal. Sorry DJ, I was hoping you'd get it too, it would have looked great with the Cosmo.
But Ben is local and he knows I've got a soft spot for 12A's and nikki's. And he's actually a previous owner of the car, which greatly simplifies the title issues. I'm not sure what his plans are, but you never know, he might be looking to turn it around for a small profit (let me know if you want his contact). Again, thanks for checking it out, I was even tempted to take this sweetie on myself (but the wife protested). |
Wtf!! had agreement to buy from owner long before ray got it and these posts went up. guess i'll have to get a trailer so finding transport is no longer a problem.

Wow sold to a flipper instead of someone who would have kept it and loved it. Sounds like it will sit and or get parted. For shame.....

Sorry guys, but since I started trying to find a new owner for this car last spring, several people have said they want it and then it sat, and sat, and sat.
I've pulled the car out of the bushes twice now and spent two good Saturdays cleaning it up, taking pictures and describing the car so potential buyers could see exactly what they are getting (first time last spring, second time last week). I tried to make clear in this post that I need to have the car gone this week and that the first acceptable paypal deposit would take it away. Late yesterday I received the paypal payment, so the car was sold and I can move on to other things. Again, I appreciate everyone taking a look, she really is a sweetie but she's going to needs lots of attention from the new owner, which I'm sure she'll get. |

After all, that's what I was going to do with it next weekend if nobody deposited some real American dollars in my paypal account.
