WTB: FC subframe and front control arms for an experiment...
 

If anyone comes across something like this, preferably dirt cheap, let me know... I want to see if I can bolt it up to an FB chassis, so it's basically an experiment. I'm willing to risk a little bit of $$$ on trying this, but not too much.

66 for the FB
66.5 for the FC

I got a subframe from a theft recovery car a few days ago, I still have to pic it up.

I will try to measure as much as possible.

I also saved the pics from the Norwegian post on the other forum. :)

I got the steering column, the steering box, the subframe, suspension, calipers, etc

I have a front subframe cheap in NC about 2 hours above atlanta and 1 below asheville nc

i have the control arms and a rear fc sub frame...shoot me an offer on either.

I need the front subframe. This is to convert my FB to an FC front suspension.

It can be done but is not a bolt in swap. Alot of fab and welding. We looked into it but backed out when respeed offered the front cross member for the FB's to mount rack and pinion steering to. Cheaper in the long run and bolts in so I went that route.

Yeah, but I really want the FC control arms instead of the wimpy FB stuff. Maybe RESpeed can make a bolt in kit for the control arms... :)

Still looking... I've had a couple leads/promises, but nothing has come through yet.

how much are you looking to spend on the control arms?

I need it as a whole package. I'm trying to retrofit it onto an FB. It's more of an experiment than a needs thing, so I'm looking to keep it as cheap as possible.
