My 1991 Rx7 TII Build

5 Attachment(s)
I purchased my 4th Rx7 in Nashville on 07/07/06. I drove there overnight and picked up the car in between shifts at work. Ended up about 35 minutes late for work the next day. Running on no sleep for a couple days I finished my shift, cruised around in my newly bought Rx7 and drove home for the best rest ever...
I've had many goodtimes with this 7, I've also learned a lot about rotaries over the years. Mainly because this 7 has had more problems than my old 87. I had built my 87 up nicely before losing it to an accident that wasn't my fault. Just glad everyone was okay. I salvaged what I could and put it on my 91 whenever I bought it. Someone out there got some good pickings off my 87 since I couldn't buy it back, didn't have anywhere to put it. It's quite a long story when it comes to my rotary obsession which started when I got a matchbox replica of a FD in 93. Always was a dream car of mine, finally owned my first rotary in 03 and loved everything about it. I won't delve too much into that right now since this is about a certain love in my life, my 91 rx7!!
I've spent countless hours and most of my funds trying to perfect my 7's. It's a very rewarding hobby in my opinion. I helped do the bodywork in august 2010 before it was painted by my good friend David Feldman. I currently work at my Dad's automotive repair shop. I have some helpful friends to push it in the shop while I do most of the work. I installed a turbo II engine in it recently and I'm trying to finish it before DGRR 2013. The other day we made a turbo downpipe and I received some connectors for my injectors. The weather is nice today might roll it in the shop and try to finish what I've started haha. I'll post up a few older pics first, forgive me for not posting a build sooner. I hope you enjoy :)

Everything was rotating fine until I shut it off in January 2011.. Once I took the engine apart I noticed one of the apex seals was jammed in the rotor and left some scarring on the housing. Goodtimes :beatdeadhorse5:

a bit thin on details, but i see you're having fun as you build and that's a good thing.

It's been awhile since I last posted on here. In the last 5 months I managed to complete the turbo swap in my 91 Fc, installed the fmic and all the piping. I got it to the point where it cranks over but does not start. I've been doing tons of reading on all of the rotary sites and still having no luck... I'm constantly tinkering with my 7 and I've replaced just about everything. New plugs & wires, injectors, ecu, all turbo sensors. Checked everything over and over again... I keep running into the same problem where the injectors just won't fire. The pump is working fine, fuel is filling the lines. I've got air pressure and spark, I can get it to run while spraying throttle/carb cleaner in the intake. But it will not start or run on its own. I've checked all of the fuses and grounds. Frustration is at full capacity whenever it comes to this project. I'm tired of spending more money on it and having no results, I'd like to start working on my 93 Fd again. Any help or input is greatly appreciated since I do all the work myself. Once again, thanks for stopping by and I'll try to upload more pics ;)

when you have questions on the FD, feel free to post! I don't have much experience with FC, but FD i can help if it's not super hard issues with wiring

I need to start a build thread for my Fd which has been a project for the last 8 years. Sadly it has spent most of the time broken. It's in need of a newer engine. First car I've ever installed an engine in, the vacuum lines were quite the experience haha. I grew up around my father's automotive shop so I'm a bit of a natural at the mechanical stuff. Although, some of the electrical stuff stumps me which is probably the problem with my Fc.

I'd check the map on your ecu.
