RX-8 Rear Tow Hook GB Interest
 

Just finished a rear tow hook for a customers RX-8 and it turned out pretty nicely. This thread is to gauge interest in producing more. I need at least 10 people signed up and a $20 deposit paid to start production.

This should also work for the front as well, correct?

I had the guy who has the prototype confirm that the tow hook does fit the front, he say's it protrudes out a little, but it does fit.

I have the bolts already, they're 7.50 each and the powder coating will be around $5 per part. Only unknown is the laser cutting cost. I will send out a design on Monday and get a quote. Most likely they will be around $35-$40 each.

I'm in. I want one either way, your stuff is fantastic.

Got confirmation on laser cutting price, pricing is reasonable and told him to proceed with the cutting process. I should see these cut pieces within two weeks.

So final cost will be $40 each + shipping

I would really love to see Adam get the buisness, and its worth a shot, but I have a feeling the thread is going to get shot down very quickly on 8club. The mods over there are super crazy about forum rules when it comes to vendors... one of the many reasons RCC is the best site

No go ahead and place your deposit, I went ahead and started the process of having these made. Hope to get timing from the laser cutter tomorrow as to when I can pick up the cut pieces.

Update: Picked up the laser cut rings yesterday. I plan to weld up some units this weekend and drop them off to the powder coater middle of next week.

Update:

The powder coater confirmed the tow hooks will be done and ready to pick up no later than the 12th. Who on the list is going to Deal's Gap Rotary Rally this year? I can hand deliver it to you to save on shipping?

All others I will have the units shipped out to you April 13th-15th.
