yzf-r1 12-09-2011 12:48 PM

Awesome - everything an FD should be, and no concerns about popping a seal under boost :)

djmtsu 12-09-2011 12:50 PM

Holy shit!

Is this one coming back to DGRR this year? I never got a chance to hear it run in person!

GtoRx7 12-11-2011 10:23 PM

Thank you very much guys :) Yeah should be at deals gap again, I'll make sure you get to hear it or get a ride this time!

I ammassivly impressed by the insectors spraying right into the velocity stacks. Also wondering what the three vertically mounted stacks are for.

Thanks! The three other stacks are ITB's that feed the small peripheral ports.

Wow, I just now noticed the massive amounts of grammitical errors in my pors, and I am also massivly impressed that someone was able to figure out what I ment. But yeah, I'm basically clueless when it comes to the porting aspect of rotary engines. When I'm finally able to build me a RE powered track car I'll have lots of research to do.

Pettersen 12-16-2011 12:26 PM

Awesome.

Hope you don't mind me stealing some ideas, and trying to copy this over to my 13b build :) (not that i think it will come close tho, since it's my first build...)

^ I see a 94 FD in the signature, I think we need a build thread.

N.RotaryTech 02-23-2012 04:41 PM

Awesome!

I saw this at DGRR last year. One of my favorites. I didn't know much about this car at the time, but I was drooling over its awesomeness. So this year ill have to bring a bib.

This car pretty much is the model of my dream build for an NA rotary.
Fantastic work and design.

For making 475rwhp I didn't expect the torque to be that low, but Damn is it flat!

And 475rwhp!!!!!!!!!
F#@k Yeah!!!!

I want this engine for my FB project. hehehe.
