I personally seen this scatter shield, I'll be having some for sale in my shop also. Goopy hit a homerun with this shield. especially at a time when racers have a need for them. Quality job here.

THANK YOU

I have been wanting one of these for mine. I really, and I mean REALLY need one of these. I bought one of those universal RCI blankets and not even a week later I melted a strap due to it being next to the hot ass header! Complete waste of money.

I will be ordering one of yours soon!

again, thank you!

IH8DSM 10-18-2011 11:05 PM

Excellent, I definitely will be ordering one of these soon.

C. Ludwig 10-19-2011 09:50 AM

The benefit of keeping your legs below the knees if your flywheel frags itself at high RPM's.

Other than that....

Raksj04 10-19-2011 03:55 PM

Oh...... I like my legs right where they are.

RXTASY 10-19-2011 05:12 PM

I will be getting one of these soon! Thanks for producing these! I have been looking for one for a few years now.

Wait no longer FD scatter shields are here!!!

This FD version is also made in a 2 piece design .

FD price $350.00

WE3RX7 12-22-2011 08:42 PM

Def good product idea... the blankets not only melt straps but also absorb any leaking fluids, etc and become fire hazards!

I'll be picking one of these up myself when the time comes... thanks for bringing back a product we've needed for a while...

knonfs 12-23-2011 12:14 PM

Will be picking one up as soon as I get my car!

justturbo2 02-02-2012 06:46 PM

I have been looking for one for my fd. I will be picking one up real soon.

FC Zach 02-02-2012 09:12 PM

Its been a while, still haven't forgotten about this product. Hopefully you'll still have availability after income taxes.

Howru 02-03-2012 02:06 AM

Just curious to know if this would work with N/A trannys?

We have one specific for the 1st gen NA transmission bell-housing.
The 2nd gen bell-housing has the ribs that can be ground off or just replace it with a 1985 or older unit. Will have pics up soon.

RXTASY 02-20-2012 07:28 PM

Do you still make these?
I have $$$$$ now!

And also, I know it's 1/4 inch but has it been tested undur the conditions it is supposed to protect you from (just curious).

justturbo2 08-26-2012 08:49 AM

I'm still interested in one of these, I just need the extra cash but one of these days I hope to purchase one for my FC before they're no longer available.

Brian posted a great example of why one of these are needed especially if you're reaching high RPMs. http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...d=1#post220404

Luckily no major damage or injury was caused from that (that I know of) but could've happened.

GoopyPerformance 11-02-2012 05:11 PM

we have a 1 piece unit in stock..the 2 piece units will be available later this month.

Also....What bellhousing are you using, the rib cased 86-later or 12A style 85-older?

ledgebmx 12-07-2012 01:25 PM

Still very high on my wanted list. Just going to pay some things off first. :)

I totally understand..

Also keep this in mind:

We could use cores and loose rotary parts at times especially when our inventory is gets low. So when folks are looking to purchase any of our Goopy components let us know what you have and if we can use it we will give you credit on any your next purchase.

ie: FD plates, turbo rotors, 20B stuff etc

FDguy 12-16-2012 01:50 AM

Im another one looking to invest on this.

Sorry, just saw this now. I have the bellhousing with the ribbing from the '86+ transmissions (S5, N/A trans to be exact).

I have not made one for this casing.. I have it for the 12a 85 and older non-rib casings that i think are a direct swap on 86 and newer NA trannies..

S1MPSONS 05-20-2014 03:16 PM

Still have these for sale? I hope so. I just emailed for a turbo2 scatter shield. Please take a look at my email and TAKE MY MONEY. :)
