Date: Wednesday April 18th thru Sunday April 22nd, 2012


This event bring rotary owners from all over North America and definitely not a local event (99% out of town attendees.. including me).

Quick general itinerary..

Wednesday - Meet the volunteers and organizers
Thursday - Meet and Greet / Explore the area
Friday - Informal 150 mile drive in the morning / Damn Dam gathering/photoshoot
Saturday - Show and Shine / Free time / Infamous Banquet
Sunday - Informal Skyway rally.

Yeah right. should we go ahead and put the 12A in the FC?? it will be out of my FB soon, the 13B-RE will be carburated for break-in with my webers then the haltech/turbo goes in. first I need to finish my taillights on the FD.

I realized few people need bit more notice to get time off from work. I figure 6 month notice should be plenty for most.

Also, Mitty will not affect DGRR 2012. I've already contacted them and they are planning Mitty week after :) So, those of you wanting an ultimate car 10 day event, you could come to DGRR, then goto Mitty 3 days later.

Also, there is a chance Import Alliance Spring meet will fall the sunday. Usually that event doesn't affect us... but some of you might want to go. The organizer is still planning the date so I'll let you know when I find out.

Thanks for nailing down the date so early and taking into account other events
as well. You've gone above and beyond as far as I'm concerned.

I'm one of those fools that may go to both events this year.

I'll be there Phil if I have to cash in some stocks or refi my house to finish my cars. Never been but I heard it's heaven :-)

I'll be there and organize the Atlanta caravan.

that Friday morning run was one of the best times i have ever had in the FD!

That would be me. I really need to get a beater soon so I can not have the 7 as a DD. We have enough time to set up a huge caravan. we could meet up the southern FL guys somewhere then with the P'cola guys somewhere in GA then meet up with the Atlanta guys. just collect people as we go. I think I am going to install a CB radio before the event. I hope I am still stationed here for this. so very very excited.

I should be there depending when the gf pops. She is due on the 28th ;) hope you dont mind my ride either, it will be a beast by then and I dont mean in a straight line.

Last year was my first and i will never miss it again!!!!!

ROTFL And beasts are welcome, we have several cars on the dragon running with one, sometimes two (in gordons case) rotors down. who knows, you may end up leaving with your car in better shape than when it got there, with 200+ people willing to tool around with each others cars!
