I'm probably just out of the loop....... but why is your PFC commander so awesome?

Trout2 09-16-2011 09:45 PM

^ That's the newer EL Commander with LED display. You can actually read it in sunlight.

Looks good! I especially like this...

"RX-7′s aren’t for everyone, but for those who own and drive them, they “get it”."

I like the i/c setup a lot with the turbo getting plenty of air also. Have you ran into any issues with running a non vented hood? and also did you cut your undertray? I plan to go vmount this year but not if I need to run a different hood.... let me know!

Trout2 01-12-2013 06:36 PM

It is not a v-mount IC. That is a stock mount set-up so it suffers from heat soak when at rest. Even a vented hood won't help that.

I plan to convert to v-mount when I change to a Mazdaspeed GTC nose and hood. V-mount works well without a vented hood but it won't hurt. The most efficient v-mount will have a duct from the IC core face to the hood vent.
