I vote for 2GSLSE's FB!! I don't have pictures but im sure he does, its a work in progress but its going to be one hell of a car when its done. In his own words my FD doesnt scare me any more! (396whp) just laid those numbers @ KDR

my 1982 Rx7 rally car

its had a long, hard life. Originally, built as an SCCA Pro Rally car, it has since been grandfathered into a Rally America logbook. I am the third owner of this car since it started life on the dirt. Many interesting ideas and innovations had been developed by the previous owners, and i certainly added a few of my own.

Modifications:
-12a, streetport with a weber 48 IDA. GM alternator to get the amperages needed.
-dual inline oil cooler setup
-Exhaust is a racing beat header, lightly hacked, into a custom two pipe arrangement made from DOM roll bar tubing (exhausts take a beating on stage)
-Miata gearset adapted into the transmission.
-4.88 Mazdaspeed final drive, with revamped oem LSD. Rear axle has been reinforced. Additionally, the front frame has been reinforced.
-Revalved Bilsteins and custom made springs in a higher rate.
-currently using a terraphone intercom, but plan is to replace it with the peltor model.
-Sparco EVO seats
-dashboard is "flocked" to solve the issue of sun reflecting off the dash.
-use of aluminum and HDPE for underbody protection
-typically running Silverstone tires, but might be switching to Lassa due to cost.

-12a currently undergoing a Half BP
- RB 465 holley intake, custom longtube header
-Respeed Front Crossmember and 15:1 non power rack, Respeed Coilovers, tokico blues, ST 7/8 Rear Sway bar.
-Gsl LSD Disc Brake Rear end, stock 3.90 gears for right now ( plan on buying 4.44s)
-15x7 Diamond racing wheels 4 inch BS
-gutted interior (have ordered two racing buckets to swap out with the factory seats)

Racing buckets, hawk hps pads,4.44 gears, 15x8 for the rear, and get the Half BP done is about all i have left to do to her.

Some things Billy didn't tell everyone.

what is this headlight motor delete?

Basicly you take out the motors and Billy sends you this rod that snaps on and whenever you want your headlights up or down you have to manually do it

cant you do that just by taking the motors out? isnt there already a stop point they sit on

Nope, nothing will keep them staying down or up they'll just flop around

well tell the people who bought respeed to start making those things again. Probably the only thing im intersted in.

I would post some, but it's not my car -- this is the guy that won 1st place FB at DGRR this year, and since I was so impressed with his car, I thought I'd nominate him. Vote for him. He'd never expect it, after everything he's done to help me with my cars throughout the years, he deserves it. He was the one who even suggested that we even keep trying to get my car to run the morning that we were supposed to leave for DGRR '11. He has helped me numerous times to fund my project and doesn't ask anything in return.
