GB: Full Function Engineering FD 13B-REW trigger kit

2 Attachment(s)
It's finally here!

A well engineered, high quality, high resolution crank pickup for the 13B-REW Engine is now available to the public. This kit allows those with high performance ECU's to run multi-tooth Motronic style wheels which offer greater resolution/sensitivity with zero rpm drift. These kits are essentially bolt-on and go.

The 36 tooth wheel (renesis & 36-1/2) offers 3x greater resolution than a stock FD 12+1 pickup. With competent tuning, these features combine for the smoothest / safest / most stable rotary engine you've ever driven.

We currently have an ECU compatibility list that is expanding as we're able to test more ecu's, so stay tuned for your ECU to be next!

I would be all over this if it would work for a 12a

fullfunctioneng 03-23-2011 12:13 AM

Actually we have them for 12a's (nearly the same as FC kit) but it depends on the exact year/model. If you can tell us the exact year and setup we can confirm or deny.

speedjunkie 03-23-2011 01:03 AM

Once it's compatible with the PFC I might get on this.

BTW, what kind of pulley is that? I've been thinking of getting mine anodized black and that thing looks nice.

TitaniumTT 03-23-2011 03:57 AM

I cannot wait to get mine!

Guys, this is an awesome kit and something any force fed rotary should consider mandatory. Get product, great group of guys to work with.

Are you going to the DGRR? Also will this be available with the Hall GT101. Sorry starting to loose track. There are a few links/threads with this trigger wheel.

Gonna have to take out the hacksaw to the A/C bracket:)

Thanks,
Ian

fullfunctioneng 03-27-2011 03:34 AM

Ian,
No we won't be at the DGRR however TitaniumTT will most likely have our kit on his car plus a spare to show off...

TitaniumTT 03-27-2011 03:57 AM

That's a true story.

That shouldn't be a problem..

The GT101 specifically isn't an option but we have another Hall sensor that is.

Sent $50. Will send the rest when pricing is firm. What sensor do you recommend?

Also will pick up at DGRR. From TitaniumTT if at all possible? That ok with you TitaniumTT as you will "have" an extra one already to show off?

TitaniumTT 03-27-2011 03:00 PM

I've got no problem with it at all. It's really up to FFE how many kits they want to send but I'll be more than happy to bring one or more as a demo and one for you.

Awesome! Thanks. Not sure if you remember me. Been to the DGRR 3 times already. Sat in your FC three years ago? I think it was three years ago. I come down with Classicauto (JOE) and thewird Marco (blue FD) and the rest of the canadian crew. The first two years we did the Florida Keys trip afterwards.

See you there....

TitaniumTT 03-27-2011 03:55 PM

I remember alot of people getting in and out of my car  I do remember meeting Joe and being shocked at his height and a few people that were hanging around with him.... I also remember being a little pre-occupied trying to find and install a replacement fuel pump

Work it out with FFE, and I'll be glad to bring it down. See you there!

Just getting around to installing my hall sensor on my FD, i didn't get any paper work with my sensor about 5v, 8v or 12v. After looking up the part number on the sensor it doesn't matter

http://fullfunctioneng.com/info/Instructions.pdf

fullfunctioneng 09-11-2011 03:00 PM

Force,
You got it! All of the min requirements should have been in the email with the ECU settings/wiring/instructions.
Its fairly normal to have either 8 or 12 volt for ref/sync depending but we try and stay away from 5v sources.
Thanks!

I don't see why not. It's just a sensor and should work on a FD motor no mater what car it is in, as long as you have a proper ecu.

TitaniumTT 02-20-2012 02:11 PM

No, it will not work on the pfc, from my understanding.

fullfunctioneng 06-06-2012 10:14 AM

UPDATE!

Developing a 60-2 setup for FD. Will be doing testing soon..

Fendamonky 06-08-2013 10:21 AM

Could/would/will these be compatible with Syvecs ECUs? What information would you guys need to make this work with the S6 or the S8 model?

Monkman33 06-09-2013 12:27 AM

I have the 60-2 setup with a Hall sensor on my FD with an Adaptronic e1280s. Aaron is awesome to work with and their products are top notch. I'd shoot him an email and see what he says. Or get ahold of the support people for Syvec.
