Well, Tim just goes to show you what I know. OGTA is like a viral thread. Someday every forum will have an OGTA thread. Who would have thunk. :cheers2:

Let's all give a little love to our rotaries today. Make em scream, take em up to redline at least once or twice. :) Happy Valentines Day.

Holly, I missed your post yesterday. So, I'll take The Blue One to redline a couple times today.
Dave, I am really looking forward to seeing the phoenix 1st gen. |
The March OGTA meet is next Tuesday (3/1). Always at Twisted Tavern off Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd. People start showing up around 6:30. March is usually a good meet. The weather starts to get nice and everyone wants to bring out their 7's to mingle.

Hey hey, see you there Mike. If the pics come out I'll post them here.

See everyone Tuesday night. The weather is looking great. :seeya:

I'm post here to spread the word, if you are following this thread:
If you ever wanted to meet Dave Meditz, from Texas, and his family, they are in Atlanta for a few days. Dave owns over 100 Mazdas and some very rare ones at that. So plan to come out and join us for dinner tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15th, at 7:00PM. I'm not sure of location yet, but somewhere north of the perimeter. I just wanted to get the word out now, so you can plan to join us. I will post later tonight with location. Hope to see you there. |
We are going to meet the Meditz's for dinner at the usual OGTA spot:

The Great SE Regional Lakehouse Invitational IV (an OGTA-sponsored boozer)
Special OGTA Meeting invitation by Crit:
The time is upon us again! Saturday May 21st at 11am is the set time. A map from the Interstate can be found HERE. From the time you get to I-85 and the GA/SC border, figure on 15-20 extra minutes to get to the house. Keep in mind, too, that the last turn is a little tricky. When the road surface changes from nice to crappy, you need to stand on the brakes if you haven't already, then make the right into Harbor Point. If anyone wants to come up early, you're welcome to. I will be up there on Friday the 20th, and everyone's welcome to stay through Sunday, especially those with a long drive or who plan on doing some good drinkin' and partyin'. We've got a few beds available, but TONS of room downstairs for blankets, pillows and sleeping bags. Everyone's welcome to bring as many guests as they like, but do what you can to stay out of a boinger - there WILL be separate (but equal) parking. The Party Barge is available (no shoes... the mud sucks) as is the jet ski. If anyone has a boat, jet ski, etc. we've got room at the dock. Anyone who trailers up a watercraft will be declared immune of the anti-boinger stigma. Bonus points if you can tow in a rotary. The same beer rule is in effect from before, Comerades! All beer is community beer so feel free to bring something fancy to share and be a hero, or just lots of the cheap stuff. If you would, just paste up the list below and volunteer if there's something you can bring. Please make a note of both what you can bring, and how many people are with you. Outstanding needs are: Beer, Burgers, Dawgs, Buns, Ice, Baked Beans, Corn on the Cobb, Pasta Salad, Chips, Dip, Water THE LIST: Crit - Propane for the grill, Potato Salad, all condiments etc and gas for the stuff in the water. Jeremy - Beer & Hot Dogs Holly - Triple Chocolate Cake, 5 Bean Bake, vino Ray - I'll have a better idea once my mind clears from the Mitty Brett & Tara- Plates, Cups, Plasticware, Soda Jamin - Beer |
What lake is this at? Might be able to come up and bring the Seadoo boat..
:) |

wow! didn't know u guys started a thread over here.
|
Boy, after all the fun I had at the Mitty with you nut cases, I'm damn near tempted to make another drive just for this party.
However, that decision would also have to coincide with a divorce and new living accommodations. So, I'm still thinking about it... :) . |
