I have been wanting one of these for mine. I really, and I mean REALLY need one of these. I bought one of those universal RCI blankets and not even a week later I melted a strap due to it being next to the hot ass header! Complete waste of money.

What benfit do they add?

The benefit of keeping your legs below the knees if your flywheel frags itself at high RPM's.

Def good product idea... the blankets not only melt straps but also absorb any leaking fluids, etc and become fire hazards!
