You don't have to try so hard with an FD though.

I will. Bring the 8 up after you get settled. Last event is this Sunday so I will have some down time. May bring the new track car instead though...

are you all doing cages now too?

Speed1 has been doing cages for a long time now ;)

Settled is a relative term..... there is a huge backlog of tuning to be done, yet I feel the need to inquire about an RCC pre-DGRR dyno day :D

All the raychem, milspec connectors, bulkhead release etc etc etc.... yeah... let's do it that way. Give a call man, let's start figuring shit out cuz it ALWAYS takes 2-3 times as long as ya think.

^ THIS!!!

Would they rent out the dyno for me to do my own tuning? I already have my map where I want it, but I would love to get it on a dyno for some fine tuning. Or I could just do it during the RCC dyno day... make it happen! :icon_tup:

LMAO. I should be used to this sort of thing around here, yet I still spit half of my drink when I read it. :ack2:

I believe he's still in the Caribbean... NOT working on his FC for once in his life.

chibikougan 01-20-2012 03:06 PM

They would, if you wanted to. Or we can probably work something were we sit down and do it, shoot me a PM when you get closer to it.

Depending on how many people we have for a dyno day will determine how much tuning actually gets done. Generally the dyno days are lots of people. Lots of noise alot of HP pulls and a little tuning... but its determined by how many people there are really.

Been ack a few days, ironically pulled the engine a day before I left and hauled it and the 'vert back to the shop. Broke it down last night and found 1 dented rotor, a few warped apex seals, a broken corner seal and the rotor contact the plate.... I'll get some pics up with the work camera, but it doesn't look like the FC will be making DGRR this yr :banghead::mad: so now its time to focus on the 'vert and get up to speed.... and the 4-port rotary ITB Miata....

So who's car am I washing?

WE3RX7 01-21-2012 11:13 PM

Wow.. That's a pretty good downshift u got there. Sorry we didn't make it up there. It wasn't wasted though... I got 6 hours in the garage washing rotors and housings etc..

What year is the Miata?
