So A min ago I stopped by the E-Mart close to me to fill up since they carry ethanol free but they were out. . I went inside and the owner apologized for being out of premium and then said that 93 is discontinued in the entire state and that they would no longer be able to get any.

He did say that he was unsure if it was only for ethanol free gas or all 93 octane. Anyone else heard anything about this?!

I Googled but found nothing, wondering where he heard this? ?

They are idiots.

If that is the case, I can no longer drive my car either. So, the state would have to buy me a replacement car. 93 octane discontinued, not a chance. Can they get 93 non-ethanol? Probably not because they suck or can't afford it.

FC Zach 04-07-2016 09:51 AM

I'm wondering if his distributor was misinformed. . I highly doubt this is true for all 93, maybe ethanol free only but even then that's a stretch.

I kinda feel like it's all or nothing. I don't really have a desire to attend DGRR AGAIN with no rotary, especially the Cosmo. I NEED to bring the car home Sunday so I can drive it and shake it down and clean it up before Thursday.

Presuming the work on my car goes smoothly over the next couple of days I may make it out there.

That won't happen, because they go for insane amounts overseas. Remember, in Aus and NZ, they look here to buy vintage Mazdas.

However, there is this for sale, and I know the guy.

Its about 10 minutes from my parents house. :)

I know that some places I've been only have 91 and not 93. I would hope that's not the case...

The other 10th on there for $5500 seems to be a better deal to me. Lots of money invested in it and its a nicer car.

Most places in the country don't have 93. From the Mississippi to the Pac coast all along 40 I couldn't find it.... at all.... ever...

:smilielol5: You've met Maggie.... you tell me
There's a difference between being tamed and knowing that you're batting above your average.... and then making sure you actually touch the home plate to lock in the world series of bitches after you somehow miraculously managed the bases loaded homerun

Very true. And she was with you when you were still slumming it. Now that you have an Audi, she's never going to leave...... :leaving:

TitaniumTT 04-08-2016 11:01 AM

 Something like that

She may not make it to DGRR this year, so I sent her a text, would it make a difference if we took the Audi? Her response was, it wouldn't make a difference, besides, you should take and enjoy the 7

Johnny_K 04-08-2016 11:08 AM

Do they have to replace the sticker every time they turn on the windshield wipers?

I've always thought that was a stupid place for a sticker

Weather looks good for the drive Thursday. I have taken off all day Thursday now, so I can meet at 11am. I'll be cleaning all morning, and hopefully NOT fixing anything.

2 small issues to fix and she'll be good to go. Drive home yesterday was fairly uneventful, thankfully. And I definitely wasn't pussy footing it.
