I'm taking a picture tomorrow fitted to engine of the M&W CDI system, that one is a work of art, best coil and ignition system matching my mounting system........... already sold out of those !

It takes a bit to impress me but that system is really nice.

For the IGN-1A I will not be offering anymore a 'full kit' as the coils are inferior to the CDI systems I prefer, no point me wasting my time or customers time on them really as it is a pretty shitty ignition option anyway IMHO.

The GB here is over, but people can still email me if they like or want something, so far as what I recommend the M&W top shelf system is there ready to go :party: It even has my own made boots that go all the way to the plug steel :o21:

IGN-1CD (early) Brackets & Boot
 

Hi Peter, your brackets and boot design/length look to be perfect when mounting my IGN-1CD coil to a rotary engine as pictured.

I am sure you are aware that my provided instructions state the coil's secondary ground, the spark return path, should be connected to that coil's specific rotor.

I have had a few PM's and E-Mails and wanted to post here, if people still want a component part to allow COP for the inferior coils I will make these to suit demand, the prototypes have worked well, they are intricate little fuckers, thus price.

If people want those then I will take orders/payment and organize to get these made ASPA since I will not be stocking them, it will be a make as ordered item.

M&W version is complete with the RR specification M&W CDI boxes & coils, its a complete system.

The only one I will still make the Adaptor for is the shitty Inductive coils, again that is as required basis, lots of people are harassing me about them still so I will accommodate them, I will NOT be offering a full kit for them though.

My 'kit' is only for the option I recommend and personally use/recommend.

So a few people have asked me 'why' no inferior coil set ups being offered.
Put simply the c-u-n-t-s do NOT WORK!

You just can NOT run the engine the way it needs to be run when using shitty inductive coils on a rotary engine. Sure some people do, but its not recommended as you WILL have to reduce the fuel amount and increase the ignition timing to dangerous levels ALL so you can fire the plug at a lower chamber pressure earlier in the cycle, ALL of this is BAD NEWS for long term durability, especially when you have to run your engine near 12.0:1 AFR at 30psi boost pressure and 700bhp on a 13B.

Each person can do what they like, but I will not be selling nor recommending a full on kit based of shit that tunes you rather than you tuning it ;)

Thus the full kit was dropped in that version, you can still buy the Adaptors which I will supply to people who want to do their own thing and currently have the latest versions being made for various customers ;)

I just had discussion with Japanese customer/shop and they understand. WTF people waste their time with inductive snake oil that never works on a rotary is totally beyond me.

Well its relative for a low powered application they may do, but again in my experience having to fix others fuck up's they wont even work at low power/boost, without misfiring so I say again what is the point of running the shit?

Why two Drag 2 boxes and not a single Drag 4R?

Simple:

The frequency of firing on the 4R and capacity for cooling means it is not rated for constant duty use. *Thus drag only recommendation*

This set up is specified to be used constantly (after much discussion between myself and Wayne at M&W we came up with this solution), at high power using one box for leading and one for trailing up to any rpm you can use on a rotary its designed to be used ALL the time :)

long distance race, easy.
drive 6 hours to an event, RACE, drive back home, all not a problem with this set up :)
Comes with custom switched Lo/Hi so it wont eat plugs when the full power is not required but enough to fire anything you can throw at it.

Latest batch of COP adaptors will be finished next week ready to send out. Will email those that have ordered them then.

Those are fittings to plumb fresh cool water to arguably the hottest part of the engine... Im looking at doing something similar, but using 3/8" tubing and making hardlines...

they work better than they look, once wired up right, one connector and one allen head bolt per rotor, very simple/fast, very strong and durable.

I have 1 person lined up for these, need 4 more to get production run moved up the order, so don't dilly dally, if you want it get yourselves organized and will get a new batch happening.
