But seriously, can't for the results buddy - best of luck with 30psi!!! :) |
thanks joe, it sucks we couldnt get that thing worked out. what did it end up being? sorry i didnt get to see you guys off, allen and i woke up sunday and decided to just split because of the weather. if you guys want to come through on the way back, that would be awsome and id love to have you!
here are some pics. i have to put my undertray on and tidy up the interior tomorrow, then its off the jack stands and down the road!! the engine bay is pretty much done in the pic below. it looks so much better in person! http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04530.jpg and lots of fuel!! http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04529.jpg |
is it the pic or do the mani ports need some work?
|
The ports do need work, my ports are the same way when I got my manifold.

Masin, post some more pictures of the engine bay..How did the re-route for the heater core work? |
i actually havent done that yet. currently it is capped and plugged, as i have many other things to worry about. like tuning!
car made its first drive today, no overheating, but i have alot of work to do with the haltech. yes the casting job on the lim sucks, gives plenty of room for porting, but not a good idea to just bolt it on and roll. ill have a bunch of pics this weekend with it all cleaned up and in the sun. man it felt good to drive that thing again! |
damnit masin! that mofo make's my sticker peck up lol
|
well here she is boys. cleaned up and in the sun. yes the bumper doesnt match(which i expected) he is getting the whole car this time and redoing it.
engine bay is not totally complete yet. still waiting on my turbo blanket and need to wrap the DP and some other heat shielding that i found is/was needed. lol also need to flat black the underside of the hood to match everything else. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04532.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04533.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04534.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04535.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04536.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04537.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04538.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/DSC04539.jpg |
Car looks great!! Any video's of it yet? Would love to hear how it sounds.
|
if i had a video camera, lol. right now its fucking loud as its on 4 inch open DP. the exhaust should be getting finished tomorrow, but we shall see. lol
|
First besides Masin to drive it!!!!
LOL. Drove up to help him tune it a bit and got to drive it a couple of miles. Still needs a lot of work on the maps, but it sounds sweet spooling up to 10 psi. :D Good luck with it, Masin! Let me know if I can be of any more help. Reese |
thanks for all the help man. she will get there pretty soon. you forgot to mention that that snail was at 10psi by 3k rpms!!
reese worked hard stageing those 4 1600's. we went from it litterally not running when they would come online to decent 11 afrs and a smooth transition. the car is 10 times more drivable now! |
