I saw this site for the first time today. Did Ryan get a 99 bumper, or is someone else around that I don't know about.

Brent and Chris, Check and see if I could get a ride with one of you on Saturday at Barber... I'll bring my helmet:)

Patrick, Is that forum Bham based?? I've heard about that R34.. I'm not sure who owns that silver FD but I've seen it before with Leo going North on I-65

I'll ask. NASA usually only allows instructors to give rides but I'll see. Also I'm still about 50/50 on what car is coming so you may have to just hang on the side we make it with the DSR:).

Yeah, I'll be switching between the yellow car and silver car this summer so hopefully that will help give me a little extra time for maintenance between events. For longer weekends, I have my speed bleeders, plenty of brake fluid, pads, rotors, etc... with me at the event. As for right now though, I'll be using the silver car for the first few. I now just need to find a little time to put my safety mod's in the car.

On a side note, I priced Hawk DTC60's and 70's for my Porsche Big Red's... I 'm looking at $270-$300 a set :banghead: They are thicker and should last longer, but how much longer is anyone's guess. I may bite the bullet and get a set for my next one, but if they wear out after a couple/few weekends, I'll be finding a cheaper alternative. My driving level is no where near these brake pads being a "must have" for me, just want to try them since they are suppose to be the best right now.

Well the good thing is Barbers and ATL is are pretty easy on tires, so you shouldn't get much wear on them.

Good to hear. I'll be running some Dunlop Z1 StarSpec's so hopefully they'll last me a while as well.
