Are Robert and April going this year??

FC Zach 03-31-2015 01:54 PM

I don't think April is this year. Oh! I don't remember if I told you or not but just in case. . . Daniel and his passenger wont be staying in the cabin, they're staying down the road I believe.

djmtsu 03-31-2015 02:12 PM

April told me she isn't going, and I was told that Bobert is riding with Paul in the Miata.

Robbie is riding with me in the Miata... but we won't be leaving until after work on Thursday. It will give us more time for activities and privacy.

I wouldn't trust the guy that put it together with my lawnmower.

BTW I blew a Racing Beat oil cooler line on my FC..... Hoping to get another one so I can do a shakedown before DGRR.

Racecar or T2??

rx7 vinnie 04-08-2015 06:19 AM

Racecar. I took it in to work to check things over... Wiggles the line and boom snapped RB are the only people that had that fitting.

almoststockfc 04-08-2015 06:56 AM

I'll make sure to bring a set of ear plugs then

FC Zach 04-08-2015 07:12 AM

And EARMUFFS!

rx7 vinnie 04-08-2015 07:45 AM

It has 2 mufflers and a silencer at the end it's not that bad.

FerociousP 04-08-2015 08:45 AM

vinnie I need an alignment before the event on the NC. I'll get with you for your schedule.

DJ Swears by it. It will give you more midrange for sure. Just needs tuning. The only major issue I have is that the bridge causes a surge up the secondaries. This makes the SSV tick at idle as if it's stuck. I was going to make a spacer to dull the sound.

The other effect of this surge is that it deposits some fuel / oil on the SSV valve and eventually causes it to stick like the oil blow by issue from the crank case vent line. Mine is the second one that I've heard this happen to, so I've all but accepted my theory as fact. It doesn't happen often, but it's something that you have to keep an eye on.

I prefer the feel of this motor over the stock renesis, but I'm bored with it, so it's probably getting sold soon. Just make sure you tune it well and you should be fine. I think Vinnie has a template of my bridge.

I'll let you drive it once it's fixed before I sell it if you want.

Sounds like a plan. I'll keep you all updated onybmoving status. Like I said .... I'll hopefully be moving in the next two months. My plans for my FC are grand in my eyes lol. 13B-RE possibly bridged with a single turbo.

Boro, Smyrna, Lavergne. All within 20-30 drive from each other.

The 'Center of the Universe' is in Smyrna at Charles house.
