this is the welding and spark paper on the glass and the re-effin-diculous amount of filler that i had to grind off the damn door from the people that did the last (what looked to be) 4 repair jobs. someone apparently halfass welded around the door handle which caused me headache but i got it handled now:icon_tup:

hey... if someone could answer this real quick for me i would appreciate it. is there a difference in the turbo hood latch spring and the na hood latch spring since the na hoods are steel and the turbo ones are alum. im tryin to fit my cf hood and i cant get the fucker to latch.

djmtsu 09-29-2009 12:00 PM

Don't know for sure....but I can tell you I have had a TII hood on my NA latch for 5 years now without issue.

Might be something wrong with the hood? Maybe the latch, or hinges need adjusting.

need RX7 09-29-2009 03:27 PM

I have heard that before. I swapped latches when I swapped hoods between my 2 cars to be safe.

TitaniumTT 09-29-2009 03:57 PM

check the parts fiche to see if they are a different number, I doubt that they are but ya never know. I've seen stranger shit. More than likely it's a defect in the CF hood.
