FierceAlien 01-22-2012 09:21 PM

Standing by as well for my tank. Please advise on a time frame for completion now that the welder is almost completed being repaired.

afgmoto1978 01-25-2012 07:10 PM

Will be picking up the welder tomorrow.

afgmoto1978 01-26-2012 09:32 PM

Well I want to apologize guys, but the welder was not repaired. I will be having some choice words with that businesses manager tomorrow, hopefully the welder will actually be repaired by the end of next week. I will keep you posted.

afgmoto1978 01-31-2012 08:46 PM

Update, found out the issue is also the circuit board. Another $600 to fix, hopefully I can get it back truly repaired next Tuesday/Thursday.

afgmoto1978 02-06-2012 07:27 PM

Alright good news, the welder is finally repaired and works.

afgmoto1978 02-13-2012 10:46 PM

Okay all but Chris's tank and the two extras are done. I will be taking the tanks that need powder coating to the coater tomorrow. I will see what the turn around time is.

Chris yours will be done tomorrow or Wednesday. And proceed with the arduous task of polishing the damn thing.

afgmoto1978 02-14-2012 08:34 PM

Scrubolio and Jesse what color silicone vent line do you want? Blue, black or Red.

Chris RedR1 - Red
Astro - Black
AOC007 - Already have line, unless you need more. Also do you still want to use your existing vent line?
Rob - Custom

Silver if your serious about getting speak up. All the extra tanks will be getting blue line.

Fiercealien and Matt you will be getting clear hardline. Note I'm not sure what setup you will be running on oil metering pump side so you may need to come up with something custom on your end. Talk to Trout2 for advise, he's currently one of my premix tanks.

Adam

afgmoto1978 02-14-2012 10:07 PM

Also let me know if you have removed your stock Rats nest/coil mount framework from your motor.

speedjunkie 02-14-2012 11:56 PM

^Good idea LOL!

silverfdturbo6port 02-15-2012 01:23 AM

still all stock, should I be doing this?

afgmoto1978 02-15-2012 06:20 PM

Your fine Matt, you just need to relocate your vacuum chamber if your still running sequential twins.

Yeah I'd probably pick up one of those. The one I made is fairly sturdy I think but I know I'd like yours better lol. How much?

afgmoto1978 02-16-2012 04:15 PM

Okay, update, powder coating should be done by the time I get back in town next Thursday. I will be able to send the tanks out by Friday. Once I pay for the powder coating I split the cost five ways and each person a total $.

What do you mean about this? Im running the rotary aviation adapter plate for the OMP. I was just going to run a line from the tank into this adapter. Or is there more to the puzzle then this?

Thanks.

Well there are a couple options on oil injection. You have the rotary aviation setup and your good to go, what type of connect/adapter are you using? Or I can send you something that will work great. Is your rotary aviation adapter have a 1/4 NPT connection?

Note some people are modifying the stock unit to inject premix.

Still waiting for a quote, I'll let you you guy know what it will be. I have a design that will work for the Xcessive LIM setup where the UIM is move forward a little bit. If your running the stock LIM let me know.

speedjunkie 02-16-2012 11:52 PM

^I am running the Xcessive LIM.

I am not sure as to what nipple is on it. I did not measure it. I did not modify it when i picked it up. So what ever one comes with it from them, is what i have. If you can send/setup something that will make it s bit easier and nicer to connect, im all for it. I was just going to use a piece of hose from one to the other. ;)

Sorry guys wasn't able to pick the tanks up this week, I will pick them up either Monday or Tuesday depending on if I can get off work early enough.

I will be sending the UIM/catch tank mount design to be laser cut so if you want one speak up. Rob, Eric are on the list.

Direct that question to Trout2, he would be the one to get specific details and photos on how to do this.

afgmoto1978 02-28-2012 09:02 PM

Picking up the powder coated tanks Thursday, the guy doing the job said he's not done with them yet.

afgmoto1978 03-02-2012 08:09 PM

Alright tanks will be ready to ship tomorrow. What I need from you guys is a pm on your shipping address and a confirmation on what you have paid so far. Once I grt the pm I will send you the total remaining $ due and shipping cost. Once payment is received I will send you your tank.

Also specify if you want one of the UIM/catch tank mounts. Will be picking them up later next week -$50 each. Made out of 3/16" stainless and cnc hydraulic press breaked.

and specify what color your car is and color sticker. Red, blue, white with white, CF (Very limited quantity), brushed alum or transparant blue background.

Trout2 03-09-2012 03:57 AM

Here's some pictures of the tank set-up for OMP use.

Thanks Jack, I think I'm going to have to get some stainless block off plates made to fit between the OMP and front engine cover.
