LOL, closest airport to me. . Is a privately owned grass runway for ultralights so unless you're landing in a glider you'll need to go to Nashville :)

Which is 45 min from me.

djmtsu 02-14-2017 01:35 PM

All this needs to happen. That way Bri-bri won't be so cranky when he first arrives at DGRR.

TitaniumTT 02-14-2017 02:08 PM

I'm never cranky

Cranked up?

TitaniumTT 02-14-2017 02:27 PM

I quit that shit. Mike is a bad influence everytime he visits he brings a case of RedBull. I prefer my Starbucks and that's about it. I gave up on the ridiculous DGRR timeframes and just clock in and do work and it gets done when it gets done.

Hop in and CARAVAN to DGRR. Drive to CT as normal on Sunday......
Trick is finding a cheap direct flight or I'll just drive all the way to FL which I do not want to do.

I read the a few times and my head hurts...

You still working on Pete's turd?

Thought you'd be done by now. Geez.

Considering I started on Saturday and we're going modern EFI with all the trimming's including a new fuel system... How long has it taken you to build a car with a carb? :fawk:

djmtsu 02-14-2017 04:09 PM

Hey Paul! ! First things first. . Register for the DGRR http://dealsgaprotaryrally.com/

Then after that it's as simple as choosing a date you can leave and then meet for the caravan.

If you want to stay in the cabin where all the magic happens. . . you'll have to get with Kyle (project86), he's in charge of the cabin this year. As for rooms/beds, it's first-come, first-serve so if you're wanting a bed/room you're probably SOL but if you don't care and are fine with an air mattress and floor or pool table (Adler LOL) I imagine there's plenty of room.

FC Zach 02-17-2017 12:07 AM

And because we're all ADHD and get off topic. . . Here's the caravan list:

Wednesday AM Caravan- (time TBD):
-djmtsu - 1976 Cosmo
-jfaplanet-- truck or DT not sure at this time
-reddozen - RX8
-Almoststockfc - who knows really.. Hercules?
- Johnny K and Mel - i really don't know...
-Project86 and MT Kyle - '90 GTUs

Thursday AM Caravan- (usually leave exit 89 off I-24 at noon)
-FerociousP - (if I can make the caravan at all)
-Zach- FC, pulling the cabin's new burden carrier/ beer hauler.

rx7 vinnie 02-17-2017 09:38 AM

I went ahead and registered. Leaving after work on Friday.

Magic indeed. There are a ton of people staying in the cabin. I have a list of people who paid. Those who paid first get beds.

FC Zach 02-17-2017 10:52 AM

Kyle, Kelli wants to know if your wife is going? ?

Johnny_K 02-17-2017 12:04 PM

Kelli, Kyle's wife, Mel... humm

Glad Vin decided not to be gay and registered.

Yep, still got it. . . motor replacement turned out to be coils. Brian helped me out with a set of BHR's and I've been back on the road ever since. . . albeit, begrudgingly, due to a tranny that'll probably crap in my face on the way out there. . . but hey, I'm replacing shocks/springs this weekend! Priorities. . . :D

TitaniumTT 02-17-2017 02:11 PM

Ditch the BHR's, they'll blow your engine with a bad battery!
