I have forgotten about this thread here..

Anyhow, Here is an update on my FD..

Past couple of months, I have decided to pull my old set up and update the engine bay and few little stuff outside of the car..

Engine bay:

Got rid of the Greddy SMIC, Its custom piping, Blitz Intake, MS radiator, Optima Red Top.

New:
Apexi FMIC, HKS RS intake, HKS BOV, Koyo Rad, Tweakit pulley kit, Pettit water pump (Couldn't find my Greddy), New belt, 2 x 4 blade fans, Custom cooling fan extended harness, Braille 15lb battery and verticle mount, etc.

Exterior..

Added: Carbon fiber bumper protector and CF center wheel caps I made.

Here are some pics..

Looking great Phil, one question though, since the factory center caps for the XD9's are hella ugly, I see you made your own, would you mind giving a quick description of how you did it? a friend of mine has XD9's on his STI and really really wants to have center caps...

The car still looks awesome... BTW

Well, Pretty much cutting the CF to its size. Not much to it. Only issue you might find is that some the hubs will poke through the center bore, which you can't use flat piece you cut out.. My wheel spacers helped with that issue.

Anyhow, I drove the car around town yesterday (after fab'd a IC pipe from spare pipings I had) and the car felt GREAT!! It might be all mental since I haven't driven the car in like 2 months, but car felt more responsive and also coolant temp was ROCK solid!!! I never saw above 85C.. which normally I see 86-87 (even with the fan to come on at 86C).

Here are few pics from yesterday..
