Or if you see a tire that needs air and it the tire blows causing the car to spin, and takes out some one enjoying the scenery, how would you feel? Yes they should be responsible for their own car, but I think as a fellow enthusiast, friend and fellow motorist you HAVE to say something, what do you have to lose?

I agree. And the sad thing is as a firefighter I see alot of things that need to be changed / done but won"t be until some one is really hurt or dies. Proactive instead or reactive

Nismo, I see what you are saying. If I saw something wrong with someone else's car, I would say something. But logistically, it would be a nightmare to inspect everyones car prior to letting them run.

Nismo 04-14-2008 05:18 PM

Well just inspect the car behind you, and in front of you, takes 10 mins, and all the cars get checked a few times over?

I do plan on updating the suspension before DGRR 2K9. Stock wasn't cutting it. Not when I was busting my ass trying to keep up with fikren's RX-8 and the whole time a new Civic SI was on my ass.

:squint:

I feel ya on the stock suspension. It's just not cutting it, and mine is 22 years old.

damn, I will forever stay away from pink FCs on the road. glad you're all alive still.

Pink Flea 04-14-2008 07:54 PM

Yes I was the one wearing the Mazda jacket.... Nic, Bite me.. I love you too.
Im a good driver Just had an accident. Out of the 3 accidents I have been in up there only 1 was my fault... I just have bad luck in general, LOL. Phoenix its not just pink FC's you need out watch out for, I have a black 8 also.. HAHA

I think what they mean is, judging by your own posts, you seem...prone to maybe not-totally thought out actions that can lead to bad results? You yourself said you left your keys in car and locked yourself out of the same day. So maybe a little scattered. :)

Pink Flea 04-14-2008 08:53 PM

LOL, they are just razzing me because they know me personally... They are like the big brothers who look out for me but torture me at the same time, especially I8U (Nic)...

I can't rag on you since I don't really know you... but I can quote one of my high school coaches:

"Blonde is not a hair color, but a state of mind"

Back to topic...

There were quite a few bumps, scuffs, scratches, dents, dings, and all out can openings that made me 'bout cry lookin' at 'em... (i.e. the above pics...)i'm just glad everyone made it out w/o any major injury!

hehe. Nope, no shame. Hell, I'm the one that left all but my camera body and one lense 4 1/2 hours away and had to stop at a walmart to get a new memory card for my camera....after packing everything the night before, printing 3 sets of directions, a check list....I am the pot calling the kettle black. ;)

Phoenix7 04-14-2008 09:21 PM

I'm spacey and absent-minded sometimes but pink-flea beats me.

Pink Flea 04-14-2008 09:43 PM
