I think Sat is supposed to rain early now. I've got to run up to Dulles for some parts/supplies and then I'll be back around 2-3. Got a guy coming to look at the '87 as well. I could have him meet me at your place if needed though, lol.

As for the carbs. I personally prefer holley, but the dellorto is a good system too. As MC said, you'll probably spend a bit more on the jets and tuning the carb. If you go that route, I would place a quick call to RB and see what jets they recommend/sell for a stock port 12A. Keep the old jets out of the carb for future builds. Holley jets are cheap and you can pick 'em up at Boyd's in town. Same w/ squirters...

I need to finish up the first wheel and then I can start on the rest. You still picking up your engine on Sat?

Yea I am going to swap to a 79 short rad/oil cooler, and have some new lines made up by a buddy at the local auto parts.

Also any tips on painting the keg?? I know its not going to look perfect but it will look better then it does!

An old friend of ours lives out your way with a red '94 miata on 17" kosei k1s, boosted, custom front air diverter (looks like a lip) but no sparcos to my knowledge. Also - he hardly drives the car (last I saw it had a dohnut on the front), but still... you may have seen him. Who'd have thought we'd have two boosted red miatas in culpeper, lol...

Don't encourage him, lol. Its not hard to swap that FMOC on later and the behive is sufficient for a stock ported/mildly modified 12A, lol..

Besides, LE's didn't have FMOC!! :)

I dont need encouragement for that! its already in the works :302: LE's dont have Dellortos and RB exhaust either

The guy I know with the turbo Miata is Craig Hunnicut. He's a younger cat, good guy though.
