Thanks Fred!!! But I think its going to be bit easier next year and most of the help is needed couple of days before the event and the day of the event... If you could help out then, that would be great!

I'm going to start a competition for T-shirt design for DGRR 2009.

No problem , LMK

All I can say is, I'm bit vengeful:) Someone pisses me off, I'll go out of the way to make sure they learn a lesson.. hence, Fontana Village is feeling the pinch:) Now, I'm going to let other groups know about NV and persuade them away from Fontana... They just fucked with the wrong person:)

Awww, Phil said fucked. Call the pitbull on him. Oh wait, he is the pitbull.

... LMK when , my friend I brought this year to DGRR is a Graphic Artist , and one h3ll of a sketcher ... I mentioned this to him today , and he's already coming up with designs :)

Herblenny 05-07-2008 12:46 PM

LOL!!! Holly, I'm stretching myself on that one.. Anyone who really knows me, knows I'm pretty laid back:)

Fred, Tell him it needs to be pretty simple design and 2 colors only:) Once everyone submits, we'll do a poll and pick a winner!

yeti 05-09-2008 12:10 AM

The lodge wants to lock us in so that they could go ahead and block that weekend to us... They and I don't want none rotary guys to book that weekend...

blwnrtr93 05-12-2008 12:50 AM

The sooner, the better as far as I'm concerned. ;) That way I can go ahead and book a room this summer while there is still OT available at work and further provide inspiration to put the FD back together.

Pourman 05-12-2008 01:15 AM

SO don't look into pre-bookings yet ??

Pourman 05-12-2008 01:17 AM

Oops

Sphinx 05-13-2008 08:47 AM

Can't wait till this, I'll definitely go as long as I'm not doing anything for my B-day which is the 13th.

Barn Dirt 05-13-2008 09:16 AM

Crappy. If I'm still in school I'll be writing exams at that time (or shortly thereafter). I was really hoping to make it in 09 :(

I wouldn't know of a better b-day party than DGRR 2009.

Holly

blwnrtr93 05-14-2008 02:17 AM

I spent my b-day in 2007 at DGRR. Made for a very good bday.

2713ddddavid 05-15-2008 08:16 PM

This sounds like a ton of fun. Sign me and the ol'lady up.
Later would be better, I'm in Michigan.

Herblenny 05-15-2008 09:36 PM

FYI....

I'm waiting to hear back about certain someone we might invite to DGRR 2009.. Pending their race schedule, we might shift the date so that we could have one of the Rotary Great to DGRR 2009... Just give me one or two more weeks to confirm this.

PHIL

jtbshaw 05-16-2008 05:22 PM

/\/\/\ Who me Phil? If you wanted me to come that bad, all you had to do was ask. LOL

Seriously, maybe by DGRR 2009 I will have something interesting to bring.

djmtsu 05-16-2008 05:35 PM

Jim Downing?

Terrh 05-17-2008 12:27 AM

so what about DGRR fall 2k8? :P

I'd come out again.

Herblenny 05-17-2008 08:04 AM

Let me check into the fall event...

Kevin, you are right.. 8 owners have BOTD and they also allow 7s. If Next years event gets REALLY BIG then I might consider doing fall events.

Nexcis 05-17-2008 11:22 AM

Kevin, we do have a fall event... It's called B3R; Blue Ridge Rotary Run. Click on my sig to learn more about it.

..Phil, you still planing on attending this year?

VR8 05-18-2008 09:30 PM

Damn, we better hurry with the BOTD '08 registration. Phil's gonna have DGRR '09 registration open before we do!

By the way, all you rotorheads are welcome in September. Since we'll be at NV too I'm thinking we should have one hell of a good relationship with them for next years events.

Pourman 05-19-2008 09:10 AM

Link to BOTD ??

VR8 05-19-2008 12:42 PM

Certianly...

BOTD

Herblenny 05-19-2008 12:51 PM

I would go this year but Seven Stock is that weekend.

If I dont go, I might come join you guys up there.

Herblenny 05-25-2008 10:11 PM

OK...

Looks like we might push it to April 24th thru 26th...

Let me know what you guys think?? or If there is any major event during that weekend (races, holiday, event, etc)

Also, we are going to make that Friday a full day thing with a gathering at the Dam.

My5ABaby 05-25-2008 10:33 PM

Damn, that Friday will be a no go for me on those days. Oh well, I'm just one person.

How about starting a poll to see when people would like.

classicauto 05-27-2008 10:45 AM

Yeah I'd be down on later in April - plus my g/f would probably be done exams so I can have some company in the FC on the way down :) :)

those dates work for me!!

Come down a week early and do my bushings. ;)

classicauto 05-27-2008 11:10 AM

hmmm, tempting Rob :) Maybe you'll have to have a de-bush'ing party after the election? One bush out = one set of bushings out??
