Erick 07-10-2012 10:17 PM

Wow, it looks like if you guy know what your doing, looks nice. What would be a good turbo for a 3gen 13b rotary

Prodigy 07-15-2012 02:07 AM

now take that huge air filter and make it so it can draw fresh cool air (from beside the intercooler) and your car will run even better/faster!!!!

Great job so far mate... excited to see the whole thing completed running well etc...

Topgear 07-26-2012 03:38 AM

Just so happens I'm working ona 4" intake pipe to mount the filter inside the v-mount

Not much to update as of late been mega busy at work and I'm just getting some miles on the engine TOB this Sunday as well

http://ej9.co.uk/?p=1273

Check the site above the guy took some great photos .... This was at a Honda meet lol

Topgear 08-20-2012 05:00 AM

Hi sorry for the delay in updates

The RA 2 stroke is working very well, the old tank I made did around 400 miles before I had to top up this was around 500ml

I've now had to make a bigger tank as I have fitted a new upper and lower 13b-RE manifold, the new tank holds 1 ltr :)

As for her running she feels great at the moment I'm running 6psi at the moment, when I'm back from Italy next week I'm going to start doing some more boost logs and getting that boost up :)

Anyway here's what I've been doing most would of seen at rotor stock

Cold intake ( I hope to be mounting the pee turbo water kit in this pipe)

Also I've now sold on the T04R and ordered myself a BWS366 turbo on a 0.91a/r

I'm also looking at getting

725 Id injectors
And
2000 Id injectors

Or should I go

Id1000cc

And

Id2000cc

???

Topgear 12-12-2012 02:41 PM

Update time

I've now sold my T04R and gone with the Borg Warner S300sx Aka the S366 , this was the turbo I was really after before I went single last year.

WOW she's a bigone lucky for me the turbo fitted my TGS manifold so I don't have to re-make that.

Here are a few test fit photos

http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...6D2D5D22D9.jpg

http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...6D3E72D394.jpg

It was clear I would have to move my Intercooler to the o/s a little and it would need to come closer to the front panel.

Well this made me move the rest of the wiring in the bay out and tucked so now there isn't a single body loom wire in the bay :)

Cheers peter I've followed your build for a long time now and what you have done is amazing. My wife is moving out to Perth in jan to see it we can make a living out there. When I was there in jan the heat was crazy.

If you still have your link ecu in a few months I might get her to buy for me :)

Next on the list is a bigger intercooler, pre tubs water and lots of boost ;)

One day I might get chance to come over an pay you a visit

Topgear 12-20-2012 05:53 AM

It's a forum, most on them are stupid and have never done anything in their lives lol.

I have my tank in the same space, and have logs of driving my car for an hour straight and the tank will never ever heat up lol. IF you let the car sit after running it then of course the tank will get warm, takes a f7cking long time for that to happen though@!

I found those english forums gay. I don't post on them anymore. Should not read/post on any forum really, but I cant help myself :willy_nilly:

p.s. the temp of the water has 2 fifths of f7ck all difference to how WI works anyway, so its a non concern heat soaked or not.

Topgear 01-11-2013 08:11 AM

Lol I thought the same I predict the water temp to be close to the pressure source temp but only test will prove

Thanks again for your help

Thanks again for your help

There is so much energy required to change the temperature of water its unreal, to give you an example. I leave my car overnight (temp say 12deg C) the water tank is cool to touch. go for drive for an hour to friends place, stop chat with him kick about, go for drive to show off car ........ come back talk more crap, jump in drive back 1 hour home and you know what the tank is still cool to touch, it is by no means hot, and is more a reflection of the ambient temperature of the day you run the car from the air flow into the engine bay.

Most of the f7ckwit opinions from forums are from kuuuunts who have never done anything or dont even have running cars lol. Just sh7t kuuuunts who type garbage and or otherwise are pests lol.

Your location is fine ;) its the same as mine :)

RICE RACING 01-11-2013 08:19 AM

p.s. it is such a great location and works so well that I use my tank as my fuel cooler too ;) it has a fuel coil build into the tank :) little secret trick, well not so secret now LOL.

I have posted up logs of my fuel temp after a 1 hr run too, people just need to look at all of the stuff I have typed over the years :)

Topgear 01-11-2013 08:36 AM

I did eye spy that in your build ;) rice water master ;)

Was a very nice touch and a great idea I'm sure no one would of ever thought of doing it that way love ur work

Topgear 01-11-2013 08:56 AM

I'm happy and once she is all done I can run some tests

Topgear 01-11-2013 09:06 AM

Once in running I will prove them wrong lol

It's all been proven before lol

1942 Republic Air Plane Company built the best most famous water injected turbocharged plane ever that still to this day holds speed record and highest ever piston engine output in long term tests and it had its WM50 tank located in the engine bay lol.

All of this stuff has been proven before in history, like I said on that dickhead UK forum, if it were not for water injection you kuuuuunts would be eating sausage and speaking german now lol.

The arguments are nothing new or a surprise, it does not matter what topic, ports, seals, water injection, ignition systems lol the only constant is you are talking with (on those forums the general populace who are wannabe's in life, with no technical ability, let alone skills of any use !) most are pretenders and pay to play nut swingers, just cock jockeys outright, nothing more nothing less.

You sort out the shit from the clay pretty quick ;) and like I always say, if you have a FAST FD prove it! you will see in the true street car scene you can count them on one hand lol.......... especially when it comes to PROOF! not many can prove anything other than that they are keyboard whores and sh7t kuuuuunts in the extreme

:smash:

Keep up the good work and don't get hung up on talking with Parrots on forums :D

Topgear 01-15-2013 10:07 AM
