Epic story, is it wierd that I actually liked troubleshooting your car lol?

Nah, something new an interesting. So much more to go wrong than a carb'ed 13B :)

Gawd... Why is it that all the old folk HAVE to go driving on Sunday? 55 in the fast lane is one thing but when I drive halfway across the country then get stuck behind a twin-turbo going 45 on the best road I've ever driven...

I keed, I keed. Chasing you around was quite a lot of fun actually.

It certainly was, next year, you lead.... and I'll make sure my Most Ungrateful Mistriss isn't as PMS'y as she was this year so maybe we can go on the big cruise after the show? :dunno: but that sounds like it would be fun

Meant to mail you framed versions of both of these awhile back, the reason I asked for your adress way back, but never got around to it. I've got both of these in their 50billionX50billon pixlel size on a disk if you want 'em.

Your dogs are awesome, they're like big ol' teady bears.

Hard to imagine any of 'em being capable of that, well maybe the husky male, I forget his name but he had that look in his eyes.

Thanks man, I may just take you up on that. Which male? The black and white or the grey and white? Probably the grey and white, Timber, he has alot more energy

You were having such a hard time with the car at DGRR that I thought I'd toss you a bone and let you have a few 'victory' pulls on me. I'd have hated to see you after gettin' waxed by the ol' FB, talk about losing some of that 'sandy blond' locks. :D There were soooo many times that I could have just cruised away from you on the Dragon but I restrained myself.

Well to be fair, you are spinning like a 125/90/14 right

I may not have the horsepower you've got but at least I can say that I'm still on my FIRST engine. or at least the first one I've built.:fawk:[/QUOTE]

:fawk: Well of the two that I've built that have blown one was in the hands of a "technician" when that fat bastard popped it, and the second was on the dyno with a clogged fuel filter soooooooooooo :banghead: can't really blame me. We'll see how #4 goes. I got 150 miles on her so far and she stopped being all pissed off after about 20 miles and a few tweaks in the MAP that really helped out. There is a HORRIBLE enleanment on the <2500rpm tip in that is driving me insane, other than that though she idles like a horny kitten and cruises smooth as silk.

I should have some more goods on it by the next RR, hopefully :) I can't wait to graduate and finally build financial capital. Can't wait to drive the Tail!

 reliability is a sexy trait all in itself. There is something about your car though that is quite fierce, I must see her in person. Caravan out with Mike & Nader.... if they don't provide the entertainment on the way out it'll probably be provided for you once you make it out assuming we have the same crew staying with us

Thanks. I figured it would be easier to start with a factory hood and form it the way I wanted to. Bad thing is I cut out most of the supports and it kept warping slightly from the welding heat so it was a constant battle to keep the fucker strait and lining up with everything. I love the look of it. A few sins to hide than it's time to put the plastic up for the big spray... hopefully nothing horrible will happen becuase I just don't have the time to be doing this a few times..... cars, why can't stamps arouse me?

batmanfc 08-12-2009 10:31 PM

Where did you get the projector's from?

TitaniumTT 08-14-2009 12:50 AM

Well, I spoke with Dave today and it turns out his dyno is down so we had to bump my appt. Bad news for Pocono as now I can't attend but good news for Bill, maybe...... new date for the first run in 8/29, a Saturday. Don't know when the 8k high boost 400RWHP try is going to be as most of my days off in Sept are already spoken for but we'll see. So what say you about that day Bill?

Come to think of it, after looking at the "completed" hood, the bonnet is very Border-esque, minus the fact the Border hood has a riser and then the vent.

Yeah bro outstading job on your hood. I was showing an auto body guy at work pics of the hood before filler and he was shocked on how professional it looks for being done in a gargage at home. :)

How is the motor doing?
