Well I wasn't gonna say anything...lol.

My roommate's FD has been down since 2009, so you're still doing alright. LOL

New update. Been very busy with work, so as usual haven't had as much time to work on the FD as I would like. I got the ducting figured out and mostly complete. Also got the velocity stack intake tube setup for the turbo. I'm really happy with how that turned out.

Still need to finish weld it.

Velocity stack on the fresh air side. There is a filter that goes on this as well.

Don't worry it won't stay shiny for very long. It will receive a nice coat of flat black powder coat before install :tongue1:

Thanks Gunny :awesome:

Looks good.

Expecting good gains with the velocity stack?

Thanks Jeff.

:dunno: but it was a nice way to mount a filter and it should reduce turbulence in the air flow. I won't know one way or the other if it adds hp or not unfortunately, but I like the way it worked out regardless.

Dyno with and without. Air temps won't be an issue because on the dyno the hood will be up and airflow across the filter will still be there. Trick will be mounting the 7" ID on the filter to the turbo... although for testing you could just get a slightly different filter that will fit over the vanjen on the turbo
