OK, so this is a Premium series boost gauge? because the opening is small on the back of the gauge it may need a small screwdriver to push the clip all the way on till it locks in place. Can you send us a picture directly to our email sales@prosportgauges.com

When I get back home i'll forward photos to you by email. Thanks for the quick response.

+1 for Prosport. I broke the little clip that plugs into the gauge installing mine a couple years ago, went down to the office and they gave me a new one.

Only issue i've had is that the boost gauge seems to read 1-1.5 psi low,and rarely sits at 0, but I mounted the sender in the engine bay in the pass side cornor so perhaps I need to relocate it or get another sender....or both.

Prosport Gauges 08-19-2010 11:04 AM

Yeah, it could be your sender got wet, or dirt/fluid got into the sender. If it has been several years you may want to consider a new sender.

Do you live at a high elevation above sea level (i.e., Denver/mountains)? If so, that may explain the 1~1.5 psi lower readings. Your gauge is reading absolute pressure, so as you go up in elevation air is less dense and ambient pressure goes down. If your gauges were calibrated at sea level (i.e., reads 0 when engine isn't running & gauge is powered up), you can expect them to read less than 0 (a little vacuum) when you at a higher elevation, and all boost #'s would be lower as well.

Sharingan 19 08-24-2010 09:43 AM

I live in FL, no elevation factors... But I'll prolly stop by the shop when I go home to pick up some parts. I'd like to get some of the 45mm gauges for a custome panel...the 52's will be for sale.

D4rw1n 09-12-2010 09:39 PM

do you have any plans to offer a fuel level gauge? I want to redo the dash in my FD with all prosport gauges but cant find a fuel level gauge that will match the other pro sport gauges.

Sharingan 19 09-12-2010 11:51 PM

Indeed! I either need a fuel level gauge or I'll have to sell my brand new water temp and oil pressure gauges and use the 45mm versions in my custom cluster (so I can keep the stock fuel level gauge)

Prosport Gauges 09-13-2010 08:46 AM

We have been tossing around the idea of a fuel level gauge, but the demand is so low.. We are having a meeting in Germany this week about new products and I'll let you know how it goes when I get back.

D4rw1n 09-13-2010 08:28 PM

another question, does your 95mm tachometer have a smoked lens like the 95mm speedometer?

Prosport Gauges 09-14-2010 08:09 AM

They sure do :)

They speedometers are 80mm btw.

Prosport Gauges,

I have a Oil pressure gauge (premium) in my RX-8 that is a couple years old and it went out, I am pretty sure it is the gauge itself and not the harness or sending unit. I really do not want to pull all of the wiring out but then again it could be the wiring as well. Is there anyway I can just send the gauge itself to be tested?

Prosport Gauges 09-14-2010 10:03 AM

Hi,

Can you please call us for further help on this problem

This is the only speedo I saw. Do you have a link for the 80mm one? Do you still carry the 95mm?

Also do you have any speedometers that register over 140mph?

Prosport Gauges 09-14-2010 02:00 PM

Sorry you are correct. the speedometer is 95mm

Sorry, 140mph is max. you know your not gonna be doing 150, :P

D4rw1n 09-14-2010 03:07 PM

You're probably right.

Do you still carry this tach and is it smoked?

http://prosportgauges.com/3-3-4-tach...ift-light.aspx

From the pictures it looks clear, that's why I'm asking.

Prosport Gauges 09-14-2010 03:12 PM

yep its smoked :)

D4rw1n 09-14-2010 03:16 PM

thanks, sorry to keep bugging you

Prosport Gauges 09-15-2010 08:31 AM

no problem man, thats what im here for

rx7 FC TII 10-21-2010 01:34 PM

id be interested in a fuel level gauge as well. just if you want to get the idea out there.

Prosport Gauges 10-21-2010 02:45 PM

ok, good to know

D4rw1n 04-15-2011 01:59 PM

Any word on the Fuel Level Gauges?

Prosport Gauges 04-18-2011 10:37 AM

no, no production date set yet as those are in such low demand for us to go into full production.

RXtacy 04-22-2011 12:53 PM

I have boost, oil pressure, and oil temp premium gauges. So far I am happy with them. The daisy chain connections really make wiring them easy. They are a little hard to see during the day. I might have to wire them up to display white during the day like Phil did.

Flash 05-03-2011 10:03 PM

I have a number of prosport premium gauges which I'm happy with however their product line is incomplete.

For those wanting an aftermarket Speedo, check out Speedhut gauges. Programmable or GPS speedos.
http://www.speedhut.com/gauge_produc...uto=revolution

They also have a programmable fuel level gauge.

Basically, they've got the full suite of gauges if you're looking to replace. Sure, they probably don't sell as much of either compared to a boost gauge, but in the business world we call these complimentary products. Obviously it can make the difference between a customer going with said brand or not.

JustJeff 05-04-2011 12:11 AM

Glad this thread was bumped, seeing it reminded me i need both replacement water and oil temp senders (one got lost, the other I've messed with too much and has exposed wires) and an oil filter sandwich.

fc3sfreak415 06-21-2011 03:02 PM

if you made the fuel guage i would def buy asap!

Just an FYI we do have speedo's http://prosportgauges.com/95mm-Speedometer.aspx

D4rw1n 10-11-2011 03:21 PM

Yeah if they had the fuel level I would be redoing my whole dash. But the lack of it has forced me to start looking at glowshift (ewwww) because they do offer a fuel level gauge. I read some where that prosport gauges and glowshift gauges are made by the same company, seems weird one would offer a fuel level and the other would not.

Raksj04 10-12-2011 01:27 PM

I Would buy a Fuel Level gauge if it came with a sender. My motorcycle doesn't have one. I have your Digtail water temp gauge I haven't installed it yet. I haven't made up my mind if I want to keep my stock gauge working as well.

Thread revive! I have oil pressure/oil temp/water temp/EGT/Wideband/ Install is simple. I have never had a single problem and the amber matches the FC dash lights perfect at night.

Found this old thread and noticed it was never updated with last few questions regarding Fuel level gauges. - Yes we do have them in several different series.

chibikougan 03-01-2016 03:27 PM

Why not update a vendor page with all new product?

Prosport Gauges 03-03-2016 10:38 AM

great idea.. thanks
